This was the top item on my son's birthday wishlist. It was very disappointing when it wasn't able to fire straight out of the box. The bow string would lock into place but pulling the trigger wouldn't release it. The tail was kind of odd as well and didn't seem to wrap around the arm like they show in the videos. It was just not a great overall toy--so much so that when I told my son we'd return it for him, he politely asked if he could replace it with a different toy. His birthday was still awesome, but it was a bummer when the toy he was most excited about turned out to be a dud. My one star is not because of the birthday disappointment, it because of the toy's mechanisms. It just didn't seem to be a good design.

I purchased this Nerf crossbow for my son and he absolutely loves it. It is made of good quality and seems pretty durable. This crossbow can make a great gift for a child that loves Nerf products.

I ordered this for my son he thought it was cool that it was a dragon! It is fun but there is a lock on it so if the bullet is not in or in all the way it will not shoot.

We love nerf wars in our house and this bow does not disappoint!!

This was bought from a holiday wish list, product was purchased in October to be sure I could get it for my grandson. He was really looking foreword to using the dart crossbow, unfortunately it never worked at all. The band that connects to the foam arrow does not stay connected and it's impossible to fire the arrow. After several attempts to correct the issue we could not make it work. I do not see where I can return this item for a refund. I would like to think you'd stand behind your product. The website was of no help at all.

8 year old grandson loved it. Works to wrap around the childs arm as described.

Lots of reviews and YouTube people thinking it’s broken but it actually has a safety mechanism that prevents it from firing when not properly loaded. If you can’t get the trigger to pull, it’s because you need to make sure the nerf dart is *fully pushed back* into the chamber. If the band is pulled back and a dart is all the way loaded it will fire. Otherwise it will NOT fire. I only give it 3 stars because it’s not very powerful (though the band could be easily modified). My son loves it because it’s a crossbow and looks like a dragon, but functionally it’s complicated for some people to figure out and it isn’t all that powerful, plus it’s a single shot obviously so overall it’s just mediocre.
