I live on a crusty old course so I like to hit cheap golf balls off my deck onto the course (cheap used balls are cheaper than the driving range). I bought a couple of cheap but decently-reviewed golf mats that worked okay but I could never hit down on the ball, a problem that I carry onto the course when I really play. Plus those cheap mats would shift or move when I hit the ball.I looked everywhere, researched all over the web and finally landed on the Real Feel Country Club Elite mat. I was a little concerned that the 3x4 would be too small but that hasn't been the case. I'm not a big guy so if you're in the 6ft. range, it may be too small.The mat has worked great and still looks brand new. I think it's pretty much indestructible. It's definitely thick enough to hit down on too. It's not as forgiving as the ground so if you hit down too hard, you'll feel it. But that really hasn't been an issue. All I can say is that I can't imagine that there is a better mat on the market. I've been very happy with mine.

This is a high quality product that truly enables realistic practice sessions. Everything is "as advertised" - it is well worth the cost for the quality that is delivered. But you probably already gathered that from other reviews and research. Yhe reason I am writing a review is that the company provided superior customer service when I realized the mat size I needed was slightly too small (ordered 3x4 but needed 3x5). When I called to exchange for a larger mat, they were very efficient in adjusting the cost differential via PayPal and shipped the new mat to me immediately. Thank you Real Feel Golf Mats! This mat is a small version of what my golf course uses on its driving range. I use it in my backyard (8 acres) to hit 9 iron and we’ve shots at a pin I put in the ground 125 yards from the mat. I can easily move the mat from one area to another for different shots. Probably the best thing about this mat is it actually gives you great feedback on crisp, thin, and fat shots. I love this thing for practice!

I have been using the golf matt for a year. It is extra thick and can be used on hard surfaces without hurting your hands and arms. The matt is well made and can be used outside in the weather. The cost matches the quality. I hit from different areas of the matt to prevent one spot from being worn out but I have not noticed much wear on the matt. Using the matt with a golf net has given me much needed practice at home.

I’ve been using the mat for a week with regular use. I think the quality is great and the thickness and material give a good feel at impact. The size is just right for me, even with my hybrids, I’m 5’9”.
