Beauty Therapy: The Foundations, Level 2

I am a trainee beauty therapist and bought this book for my training, I found a great deal for about £5 ( about £2 for p and p) instead of £25 it arrived in a good amount of time. Since it has arrived I have been glued, it has great layout throughout the book, great for many styles of learners, it covers a vast amount of knowledge a good glossary and index. My book was second hand and came at a good quality just a little indent from when it was leant on by its last reader and had a sticker on it like it came from a library, which tickled me a little. But besides that it is a great read highly recommended for any new and eager therapists 😊

This book is great for my college course, it tells me more then what I need which is great because when doing my exams I understand what questions are being asked. It's great for when i need to remember certain things I can look it up in my book. It's set out into different sections that are colour coded and it's easy to find what you need and look through. Great book definitely recommend to any person doing a beauty course.

Bought for my daughter currently studying Level 2 Beauty Therapy

Chose this book to go along side my level 2 beauty therapy course. It has a lot of the material I need in there for assignments though sometimes I am left to try and obtain what I need from Google, which as for Health and Safety things and legislation can be difficult to make sure that it is correct for the subject. Not sure how this would be improved unfortunately as these things can change quite often. Generally procedures are easy to understand though the pages can look quite cluttered to me sometimes when I just want to FIND a certain thing or confirm a single piece of information (though I am a single mum of four children and often I'm studying when they're awake still). De-clutering the pages and it being more of a 'text-book' would be beneficial to me (personally) though I have looked at other textbooks for this course and I would still pick this over any of the others.

Good technical beauty book. I have bought as a refresher to the current requirements and techniques as Beauty Salon Owner and needed to understand quickly what my staff will be trained in Much more detailed than I remember my own professional training book at the time and covers a comprehensive range of techniques and professional guidance
