Q: Please can anyone explain how the A4 notepad is secured? Can it sensibly be replaced with a thin clipboard to secure loose sheets on that side?Thanks!

The a4 pad must be glued on the short side

it will only take pads that flip from top to bottom like a reporters pad. be aware also that there are no pens or anything else with the pad that they show on the pictures. but i am very pleased with the quality of it.
