Easy Learning Italian Grammar and Practice: Trusted support for learning

Finding it very helpful. Just about all the grammar you need is there and well explained. The exercises are great too, especially the English to Italian at the end of each grammar subject section, which sometimes test your knowledge of other grammar parts too - which is true to life! I’m really concentrating on this book now before I move on to read any more novels etc. You need the basics first!One or two typos but that’s always the case in any book.

I have purchased multiple grammar books on Amazon, found this one through other reviews and I have to say, it does live up to they hype. I love the attention to detail, chapters are arranged in a logical succession from elementary stuff to more advanced, it managed to answer all of my grammar related questions. The tests at the back of every section are quiet short yet they cover all the main potential problems - which in my opinion is perfect, as this is not marketed as a drill book.

Very clear and easy to follow grammatical explanations. Tasks to ensure you've understood it. Very helpful.

If you already have the Collins Easy Learning Italian Grammar, don't buy it, as it is identical apart from the addition of a few exercises. Also, you need to have a fairly good Italian vocabulary to be able to complete the exercises and there is no dictionary included.That said, it is a very good grammar plus exercises to test your learning, clear, simple and straightforward. Great for revision or to use alongside other learning tools.

If you are starting to learn Italian as a second language(or more) language, this book is very helpful. It is simple but detailed. The exercises are taxing - at least for a native English speaker - but working diligently and systematically through the book helps with any other method of learning e.g. online. Great value!

Wiil try to speak and read more Italian

always concerned when buying books from amazon since sometimes the pages can be cut or some are too large compared to other pages and the font can always be wierd but it was not like this in this book, i haven’t used it yet but have flipped through and it looks rather organised however when buying language books i’d always recommend getting more than one just incase it doesn’t have all the necessary contents in one but so far this looks good

Helpful if you want to learn Italian.

I really like the way this book is set up, the explanations are good and one can go through it progressively or jump around. Unfortunately I only noticed today, long after the return window has closed that the pages about the subjunctive are actually missing. There are no pages 171-181. Maybe there are also other pages missing, I haven't searched or gone through page by page. So disappointing as I am ready for the subjunctive now!

My teacher recommended this book. We use it for our lessons. Easy to understand. I love that they give you the answers to the exercises so you can quickly correct yourself if need be.
