I bought these in a hurry while my husband was in the hospital after a traumatic car accident and back surgery. He was a bit of a jerk before, during, and after the accident, but nonetheless, I did my part and tried to prepare a house with zero mobility accommodations as best I could. These rails turned out to be a solid purchase. They helped him ease down and get back up without stressing the metal rod in his back. Sturdy, stable, easy to install, and they did exactly what they were designed to do. The rails did their job perfectly. I still have them. The husband is no longer part of the household. If you are suddenly trying to make a home safer after a major injury and are guessing your way through it, this is a purchase you can feel good about.

Easy to assemble - I think one reviewer said they couldn't get one leg in right - the button wouldn't pop up. That happened to me too, but I pushed downward on the gray plastic ring, away from the button's opening even though it wasn't obstructing it as far as I could tell. That freed up something inside and it popped right up! It took all of five minutes (it would have been under 2 min. if I hadn't had to try to figure out what to do with the leg that wasn't going in! Lol!) to assemble everything without looking at the directions. So easy. It fits well and is sturdy. Lots of height and width adjustments, and two sets of caps for the legs. Use what works for your flooring. Also, it has two easily "pop-off-able" clips that make it a cinch to fold and take with you or move out of the way. We don't bother moving it, as it is not in the way of anything for anyone else. Also, I didn't want anything that put downward pressure on our toilet bowl when it was used as some seem to have you pushing down on the toilet to lower or rise. We have a Toto wall mounted toilet and I was concerned about pushing down, or sideways stress on the toilet connection to the wall in case of hitting the rail, and maybe starting leaks. This is not connected to the toilet in any way, nor did I have to make holes in my walls to accomodate handrails. Glad I found it!

This product is amazing, very affordable, I bought it for my elderly aunt that had a hip surgery, designed with safety in mind and really gives the additional support needed while using the bathroom. Super easy to assemble no tools needed, adjustable width and height, and non-slip grip handles providing additional stability and support. The frame is made of aluminum and can support up to 300lbs, this product can be placed around any toilet without any additional hardware or tools, the suction cups on legs are extremely strong. Overall, this product is a great choice for individuals who need extra support and safety while using the toilet.

This purchase was for my 98 year old mother. She previously had the type of toilet handles that attached under the toilet seat, however, you could never tighten the toilet seat down as tightly as it should be, and it always had movement, and the handles themselves were in my opinion not sturdy, they wobbled…and they were recommended by the Occupational Therapist!! I had to get her a new toilet seat and because I wanted to be sure the toilet seat was securely screwed down without any movement I searched for a free standing set of handles that would go around the back of the toilet seat. These looked sturdy, especially with the suction cups on the bottom, and had good reviews, so, I ordered them. They were easy to put together, easy to adjust, they’re sturdy and perfect for her! I definitely recommend this product!

I recently got this product due to my mom coming out of a physical therapy center after a long summer of health issues. She could always stand and get up on her own but this year it has been bad, so I was looking for something that would give her that extra security in the bathroom when you have to go. So I needed something that worked like a walker but for the bathroom, so I was gonna use one of those until I saw this during my search. I am glad I found this, first off if you have parents, or loved ones, or take care of a person who has issues with getting up, shaky legs, or just for that added security, this is a must-have. First off this is so easy to set and get done, it was I will say maybe take 2 to 3 minutes out of the box, no joke or lie, this was super easy to put together as most of it is together. Just like a walker, you add the pieces by placing them inside of each other and then adjusting them by moving them into place by pushing down on the ball joint and sliding to the length or width you need for your comfort. They have two sets of feet so you can change them for the flooring you have in your bathroom and this is great as it adds that sturdiness needed and support it will not slide when you grip and lift up. It does come with a little basket/pocket you can add on or attach if needed to hold magazines or other items needed, nothing heavy of course but is a great little add-on. Overall, I am glad I got this for her and that she feels safe and has no fear of falling in the bathroom, if you have ever taken care of older people or anything with issues with stability know this is a major fear and issue. This took that fear away and gave her back some independence as well and for that, I can not say enough good things about this item here.

This will help you slowly sit down and support you getting up off of the toilet. I used it during my recovery from total knee replacement and was so thrilled I had ordered it. 100% better than hand/wall rails in a post surgery situation. The assembly was completed in minutes and you can personalize the height to your needs. I also used it to steady myself getting in and out of the shower (this may not be recommended but it worked for me). It is wonderful. Great to have in the bathroom for elderly folks as well. Highly Recommend!!

It does not take long to put the parts together. Everything is self explanatory but the instruction sheet is helpful. These toilet rails are sturdy and firm. The suction cups are only applied on the smooth floor. Unfortunately my mom's bathroom flooring has texture. Thus, she needs to switch back to the rubber legs of which the rails are shaking a little bit when applied weight and pressure of getting up. I would say this is the only drawback but overall it's still helpful if using it carefully.

In addition to being wobbly the bars at the back should be flattened to allow the toilet lid to fit. Also the seat will not stay up in the raised position. The positives are that the width specifications are as stated.
