I found the calendar too short
I wanted to plug this in the front of my tower but with the cable being so short I don't think that will be possible. I wanted it to sit on the top. I have not used it yet but it was my own fault for not noticing the cable was very short

it did not last
6 months later and only one socket works

My advise, pay more and get a good hub, that comes with an AC-DC adapter!
It's a no frills USB3.0 hub. It is generic because I have seen exactly the same hubs with different brand names. The hub only seemed to work when plugged directly into a Motherboard USB3.0 port. It would not work through another hub at all. It is unpredictable at best. It is not a powered hub, so plugging more than one USB flash drive or HDD into it will cause it to become unreliable. As for being ultraslim, it's about an inch thick, which is about average for a cheap hub. The worst thing is that the ad clearly states that it is a powered hub and has an AC adapter. It does NOT have an AC adapter, and doesn't even have a socket to plug in an AC adapter. I sent mine back, sighting these issues for the reason, but I have noticed that the on-line ad has not changed. I did at least get a full no quibble refund, with return postage refunded :(

Just what I needed
Just what I needed for a very good price. Took out a lead from the back of the PC, plugged the hub in to that USB, plugged the lead I'd taken out to the hub and 'blue-tacked' the whole thing to the top of the processor, then plugged in the large USB to micro USB cable that I need for transfers to tablet to it so that the two USB sockets on the front of the processor are always free for flash drives. Booted up and it automatically loaded drivers in a few minutes and I was ready to go.

Awesome
I have an Xbox one X and have used up the USB ports on it. 2 external hard drives and a turtle beach wireless dongle. I needed more usb 3.0 ports to charge batteries etc... This item is superb, I wasn’t sure it would pick up the 2 hard drives, but it does. Now I have extra room for another item. I am really pleased with this item, if this is what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to buy it as you will not regret it.

Cheap but it works
A very useful little device for those needing extra USB slots. It works as advertised but looks and feels very cheap, which is not surprising given the price. The glossy black plastic really does it no favours, especially with the clunky form factor.

the machines dont like starting! (With nothing else attached to these hubs) ...
Does what it's supposed to... to an extent. I bought two of these one for me and a colleague. We both run macs and have found if left plugged in, the machines dont like starting! (With nothing else attached to these hubs) Dont know what that's about but it could proper throw someone! It's fine if the system is up and running. Unpowered though so some devices complain.
