These filters are a bit oversized (in a good way), as they are made for a 12 cup coffee maker, not a 10-cup. That is exactly what I was looking for, as most filters are a little small, even when they say tey fit a 12-cup coffee maker. Slightly smaller filters overflow or fold in and make a mess. These are big enough to do the job, without being too big for a home coffee maker.

These filters actually work. No grounds in my coffee. After years of using Melitta filters, something changed. Every pot was filled with grounds because of the overflowing filter. I tried a couple of other brands with not much more luck, but these leave close to a half inch margin with 5 scoops of coffee in my 12 cup pot. Buy them. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

My comments and critique of this Bunn coffee filter are meant to be positive, and are based on my own personal daily use of these filters.BACKGROUND:I have been using these filters in a quality, Bunn Speed Brew Platinum,10-cup coffee (50 oz) machine that makes coffee very fast and hot!MY OBSERVATION OF THE FILTER:First, the material used to make this white filter seems strong and uniform in size. It also seems to catch a lot of the coffee oils, perhaps more so than the other name brands that I have used. Very pleased with this.HOWEVER, the filters are not tall enough to contain the brewed coffee grinds from overflowing into the coffee carafe. It goes like this: You pour yourself that long-awaited cup only to find that some "grinds" are in your coffee.. Although there may not be many, they are there and shouldn't be. Kind of like eating something with coconut flakes - an hour later and you are still finding them in your mouth. Annoying!TO REMEDY THIS: I tried different grinds of coffee (fine to course) to see if this would make a difference, but the filter still allowed the grinds to overflow into the coffee carafe. The photo shows the brewed coffee going over the edge of the Bunn filter that "Towers Above The Rest." I used 5 tablespoons of medium ground coffee for the 50 oz carafe which is less coffee than many coffee aficionados would recommend.Would I recommend these filters? If they were 1/4" taller, I would say absolutely!

I looked for taller coffee filters since sometimes the grounds were overflowing the filters and getting into the coffee carafe. These work well in my drip coffee maker. They fit just like other filters for 10-12 cup coffee makers, but are just a little taller. Love them.
