Bought as our office upgraded their PCs, but nobody thought tho check we could use the existing HDMI monitors. Worked a treat despite some confusion about the uni-directional aspect listed as both PC -> monitor and monitor -> PC. In use the thickness is as the HDMI cable it replaced, it's nice and flexible and overall good quality for the price as per most of the Amazon Basics peripherals I have purchased in the past.

This is perfect for my use case. However, there are some things to look out for if you want to buy this product. To start with, this cable cannot handle 4k 60hz as advertised. This may be because the cable connectors are DP 2.0 or HDMI 1.0. This isn't a problem because I'm only outputting from a GTX 1660 super, which can only be 1080p 60fps reliably. But if you are looking for 4K, I recommend using another cable. Another thing to mention is that the cable can only do DisplayPort to HDMI and not HDMI to display port as it is not an active cable. I don't believe the product states it can work both ways, but it doesn't say it can't either. Again, lucky for me, I'm displaying from a display port to an HDMI port, so it's all good. The cable is a particularly good build and super sturdy so you can be tough on this thing, and it won't break. I had to cable manage this behind a wardrobe and pull it through, which would've broken most cables, but this one worked perfectly afterwards. Overall a good product, the listing could just be a bit more accurate!

Worked fantastic for connecting my PC to my monitor. I needed to use my current HDMI to HDMI cable for something else and this is a lot nicer to have plugged into my monitor. Great thick cable, the length is good as long as you're not planning on having your computer on the other side of the room to your monitor. The durability seems strong and I'm happy with how much it cost. Very pleased with the product, I used it to make sure the ports on my pc worked fine and it gave me peace of mind too because I had tried to put a HDMI cable into one of the display ports on accident a while ago and I was worried that I had damaged the internals. It's all good!

I almost didn't buy this product because of the ratings but then I saw the actual reviews! I bought this for my PC as the graphics card I bought only had one HDMI port but 3 DisplayPorts and I have a dual monitor set up which only have HDMI inputs.. This product works just fine (I brought it a few months ago) and there is no difference between the screens, some people just don't read the description fully! No, it won't work from HDMI to DisplayPort neither will it be compatible with 4K demands, it literally says it if you read the information about the product! I recommend this product for people using it for up to 1080p (and anything below) quality :)

Note this is not a bi-directional cable. It will only go FROM DISPLAY TO HDMI. It will not work the other way around.

En mi caso, lo utilizo para conectar mi ordenador a un Samsung Odyssey OLED G9, un monitor de altas prestaciones que requiere una conexión de vídeo de calidad. La experiencia está siendo muy buena, con una imagen nítida, una transmisión estable y una gran fluidez. Es precisamente lo que buscaba para aprovechar las capacidades de mi monitor, especialmente cuando trabajo con tasas de refresco elevadas. Además, los conectores tienen buenos acabados y encajan perfectamente. Collegato e funzionante al primo tentativo, senza adattatori né configurazioni. Nonostante la lunghezza generosa il segnale resta pulito, senza sfarfallii o cali improvvisi, cosa non scontata con i cavi lunghi. I connettori entrano con la giusta resistenza e restano ben saldi nelle porte. La guaina è flessibile ma robusta, si nasconde facilmente dietro la scrivania senza fare fatica a piegarla. Ottimo per collegare il PC a un monitor o a un televisore distante. Prezzo onesto per la qualità, consigliato.
