I advise you to use it on back and legs but not for the neck.For the neck one needs a not so strong power heater.This thing is effective and the philips lamp it comes with is a must have and very reiable ; Itvis the main player here. .I wish the screw inside the body was clay not plastic and it would be less plasticy. Yes it is a must have product . And excellent for sport.Highly Highly recomemend buying. Very Very effective. High power.

It works great. I highly recommend getting one for home.

Tried it as I have a bad cold, which was getting better, but still had a sore nose and chest. Used it for around 30mins, holding it by hand and pointing at face, neck and chest. It's very pleasant warmth so I enjoyed using it. After use I almost immediately got worse symptoms - migraine came back, runny nose and coughing stuff up - however I think it's a sign it's working, expectoration is good when you have a bit of a chest infection and clearing sinuses. Headache got treated with medication, so all in all I think I would use it again but away from eyes and forehead to prevent headache. It's clearly not great for leaving unattended as the base is flimsy, and you have to plug in / unplug to turn on, but for the price, and how I use it - I hold in my hands to point to body areas, it's fine.

I like that it heats quickly and it helps to target the source of discomfort. The plastic housing is very lightweight.Good value.

The first lamp we bought stopped working in a few days and we replaced with a new one, as it was an unlucky one. The other that arrived stopped working in a month and half, even though it was used just a few times.

The lamp is powerful enough. However it misses important safety features: there's no on/off switch, base is too lightweight, so it might topple over when you plug/ unplug

I have suffered with repative stress in my shoulder blade from 2009 up until 2012 finally got it sorted with acupuncture,whyvso long because I trusted my doctor it would heal just massage everyday. I had tried chiropractor but that relief was for only for 3 or 4 days. I could work again but just over a month ago its came back but worse now affecting my breathing feeling tight around my lat area and down middle of my back. I thought I'd give the infared lamp a try as its 1 of three things that are done when I have acupuncture. Massage, acupuncture, and infared lamp. Within first time of using this it brought my pain from 1 to 1010 being unbearable and I was 10+ it now about 1or 0 only hit triggered again yesterday because I returned to work. But I now decided that I can't do my job anymore. But at least in comfortable in my back which I think is more important for me in long run.
