2 in 1 Pet dog thick waterproof car single front pet seat cover (Grey)

I liked the fact that you can have the car seat cover instead of using the whole seat, and the product is well made without a doubt, but what I didn’t like was there was no where for fastening a seatbelt except by the tiny gap at end of the zipper. The dogs jumped out of the seat when it was fully assembled. It’s also awkward to put the elastic belt around the back seat when you have a two seat and a single seat in the back of the car. I think the car seat cover should be designed with two holes at the base so that you can fit the dog with its seat belt, even when the dog seat is fully used. If you have a smaller car please be aware that the seat uses a whole passenger seat and if you have the usual family sized car, with two of the seats in the back of your car you can only fit someone in the middle of the back seat or up against the door if you have dog seats side by side as they do take a lot of room. Overall, my car is not big enough for two of the seats because I have family to transport 90% of he time, but if it’s just myself and the dogs I can just use the seat covers which saves the hair on the seat. So this items has it’s good points in its quality, and that it’s going to be easy to clean if your pet gets muddy as you can just put it in the washing machine. Delivery was quick. I can’t fault them on the quality, maybe just a couple of design features need adjusting... otherwise a great idea.

This was excellent value because it was advertised to me as a temporary bargain and I got it for around £16, so that's fab. It was invaluable when I first had my cockapoo pup and needed to get him used to the car. He adapted very easily to being in his seat up front with me and I was able to reach out an reassure him if he got restless. The rating is not 5 stars because the sides are so floppy. As he grew and gained weight, he easily collapsed the side nearest the gear lever and became a bit of a nuisance. It's in the back now (as is he, restrained by small lead that attaches his collar to a seat belt clincher), but it's not a useful back seat cover because obviously, it's designed to cover a front seat only - the collapsible sides don't go flat because they're meant to hug two sides of a single chair. SO, when my 4 month old dog is a sedate and well-mannered boy and can sit up front without biting everything or trying to play with me while I drive, this will be a great front seat cover.

This is great for my dog who is a small poodle and a rescue dog. I don't think he'd had much experience of being in a car before so it's taken some time for him to get used to the seat. However two months in and he's not trying to jump out of it now but still stands up all the way on journeys! He likes to see out of the window so he wouldn't be able to do so if he was sitting.The only negative, and this is just my dog, is that I have to secure him to the seat with his lead as well as the seat belt strap (bought separately) to keep him from trying to climb out. The sides are soft and bend easily so he can climb over, no problem. I expect this will get easier as time goes on though, and he gets more used to being in the car.It's a great product and also protects the whole seat from muddy paws and dog-hairs.

It is bigger than I though for my little terrier. I only gave it 4 stars, not because we don’t like, its just we think it’s too soft on the sides for her to slide out if she is leaning on it. Could and should have been higher all round. Plus I would have like a clip inside to connect her lead to secure it. It is too easy for her to get out onto the other seat. If I replace this item in the future I now have a better understanding of what I really need to secure her in the back seat.

I've only had my dog just over a week and I had been holding him in any car journeys but we had a long car ride ahead so wanted him to have his own seat. I found this and it seemed good. We put his bed in the seat and he settled down well. The only thing I would say is it doesn't have anything to fasten them in which I assumed it would so I had to tie his lead around the headrest. I have since bought a dog seat belt but I feel this seat should have it included. Overall quite happy. Just would be better with a seatbelt

Bought this for our new puppy along with a separate purchase of an in car dog harness that attaches around the car headrest. During the first couple of journeys we had to have somebody in the back with our little guy to make sure he stayed in, but now when we start the car with him in this he knows it’s time to rest and is usually asleep within minutes of setting off. Value for money is great, the only thing that could be improved is the side rigidity as he can push the sides down if he wants, but as we have him secured with the extra purchased car harness that’s not really an issue.

Having a 5 month old Vizsla puppy I've found this 'box' ideal for keeping the car seat clean/dry after a run over the muddy fields. I'm sure when he's older and the 'box' can be transformed into the folded out position it will also work well. The only negatives are that the zips don't stay fully up properly so need to be re-zipped regularly and the 'box' itself is pretty flimsy so my dog often steps out of and then on it whilst I'm driving even though he's secured in a harness with seat belt attachment.

I got this after reading reviews and my dog does love to sit in the front. It can be confusing and hard to gauge the size and what dog will fit. So mine is a staffy and 22kg and fitter perfectly comfortable and slept like a baby. The seat its self fits perfect and easy to assembly and keeps the fur and grubbiness inside and off your seats. He felt secure, theres room to have the dog seat belt from the harness to the seatbelt stalk and I really cant say anything bad about this at all. 10/10. Came the next day too! Thankyou.. happy customer and a happy doggy.
