Great shower, but be aware...
This is the first power shower I've needed, & this is only because I've moved to a house with very low water pressure - I found myself running around the bath, trying to get hit by the occassional droplet of water that came out of the shower head :(My previous shower was run by a combination boiler, so the pressure was excellent & heat was instant - I wanted this simplicity again, so decided on this shower. As power showers go, this was quite a good price. I also looked at many reviews to see how it performed, & it came up with a good rating at most sites.Delivery was well within the specified time-frame. However, there are some things you should know about power showers if you are planning to change from an ordinary 'over the bath / run from your water tank' type shower. These are the problems I came up against in my quest to have a decent shower:When the shower arrived, all was ok (Happy Times)Then, I couldn't get an electrician to wire in an RCD unit, this shower MUST have it's own trip switch. (Sad Times).By this time it was nearly Christmas (2013) & I couldn't get hold of a plumber. When I managed to get a plumber round to see what the job was, he informed me that this shower couldn't be run from a mains water supply, but had to be supplied by the cold water storage tank in the loft. But, because the shower can pump through upto 14 litres per minute, I would have to have another cold water tank fitted in conjunction with the one already in the loft - thus giving enough water to supply the shower on full power for aprox 15 minutes. Bear in mind, that if the water runs out, the motor which would be trying to pump the water through would burn out.So, long story short - it took nearly 2 months from ordering the shower to using it for the first time. Now, you want to know if it was worth the wait don't you?YES!The shower is brilliant. On half power & half temperature, it is perfect. I have tried boosting the power to full, but it's a bit too much. Although the temperature is good on half, there's plenty of scope for visitors with asbestos skin. The one-touch button to turn it on & off is brilliant too - after the last ordinary shower I had, where I had to turn it on like a tap, then adjust the temperature, then adjust it again... this Triton is luxury. It just gets to the right pressure & temperature with one button. So, the verdict:Be aware of the preperation work which may have to be done before having it fitted. If this is just replacing another power shower, you'll be fine, but if this is a new install, check with your 'Sparky' & 'Plumber'.

as it was easy to fit with all existing electrical and plumbing connections
This is the 3rd one of these I have had in about 14 years. The motor stopped in the first one (worn out brushes) and the second one leaked internally causing an electrical malfunction. I bought another one, as it was easy to fit with all existing electrical and plumbing connections. I think any household appliance that costs less than £200 and lasts for 5 years is OK. The performance is good (we have a conventional gravity fed system),and now a new master bedroom wit en-suite, so this is now only a secondary shower. I would recommend this!

Flexible Connections and thermostat a must
This unit comes with three ways to connect, I used the rear connection due to my existing enclosure, a bit difficult to fit as it was only a thin plaster and cardboard wall between the en-suite and bedroom. You have to connect by push fit connectors which are supplied but rear connection with a small hole is difficult. In the end I bought 500mm flexible connections from B&Q and a bit of copper pipe so I could push fit it all together, the difficulty for me was the small opening and getting the push fits supplied to located in the unit, the flexibles enable you to fit outside the wall and then push it all back in once made.Once fitted commissioning is easy. They suggest you need a tiled wall to fit on to, this was not possible for rear fixing but I tiled all around the unit and then used silicon to waterproof the unit to the wall to stop water ingress. The unit once fitted is brilliant, the thermostatic feature is worth the extra as when you turn it on it only takes the water from the hot pipe until the warm water comes through and automatically mixes and adjusts so you so not get burnt. The pump is not the quietest but you can adjust flow which reduces noise, we are only on half flow and that is more than enough. This is a superb unit, I hope it lasts well as initial use is commendable.

A bargain replacement for a previous Triton shower
This was a great replacement for a Triton 1000 series shower (very old!) as the unit is laid out very similarly, with rear entry of pipes, electrical connections in a similar place etc. It does the job for us brilliantly. From my experience of power showers its no worse than any other of the type in regards noise, and is certainly powerful enough.I agree that it was a bit disconcerting to have to take away a bit of the back of your brand new shower unit as soon as you open the box for rear entry, but it was no hassle. It does indeed require removal of one of the fixing holes, but Triton say you only need to use two of them anyway. I honestly had no problem using the bottom left fixing hole at all, no obscuring by equipment or awkward tool entry.Great product at this price, but not at the Triton RRP!!

Great product at great price
Great shower at a really great discount. Works just as expected, it’s noisy but not as noises as the previous mira model it replaced. It’s a power shower so the force the water comes out it’s only expected make a bit more of a racket. You just can’t beat a power shower, it far exceeds a regular one. Highly recommend at least 100 quid cheaper than in stores.

Installed easily and functions well
This was a direct replacement for a similar unit. Installed easily and functions well. Only issue is that the previous unit lasted barely longer than the warranty period so I can't vouch for its reliability hence can't give 5*
