Bulk Pea Protein Isolate Powder, Vegan Protein Shake, Chocolate Mint, 1 kg

I love this protein. Tastes a bit earthy but that’s to be expected with vegan protein powders (I just flavour it with sweeteners or sugar free syrups). As a person who cannot tolerate soy protein or whey protein, this is a good alternative. Takes a while to mix and a bit of effort but I don’t mind that. Doesn’t really taste grainy (but I mainly use this in baked oats so might vary if used in shakes). The vanilla one is good, and the chocolate mint one is flavoured really well.

On the face of it this seems like a good deal: a large quantity of vegan protein powder for a decent price. However, the taste is so bad that I couldn't drink even a quarter of a serving of it, it's just ghastly. I can't make myself consume this, it tastes like vomit (and may actually make me vomit if I tried to drink it all) It doesn't matter how good the price is if the product is so disgusting you can't even use it. This is the first time I've bought a Bulk product and it will be the last - I'm guessing it's cheap because they're struggling to get rid of this slop. Atrocious taste and terrible value for money in the sense that it's completely unusable so it doesn't matter how little it costs.

Easy to digest , mixes well with water. Mixed 3 tea spoons of this to 1 teaspoon of light hot choc powder - it mixed well with hot water and the taste was good. So been have for my tea break - which is a good way to top up my protein levels. Also it works out really cost effective compared to the normal milk Whey Isolate.

Product turned up intact and well packaged. I ordered the chocolate mint. The flavour is quite disappointing (I know protein powder isn’t amazing anyway) but I’m not looking forward to my next month of daily protein shakes put it that way. Will be trying another flavour next month.

I bought the choc mint. Taste's ok, none of the probs. others have reported.

First time I have encountered a protein powder I could not mix with a spoon in a cup and get a smooth texture with no lumps. The taste is not great but I think could be acceptable if it mixed to a smooth paste, it is the hard lumps you cant get rid of which make it unpalatable. Avoid.

Good value for money. Well worth buying. Will buy from seller again.

I don't think I'm particularly sensitive to stuff I put in my body but this one was a no-go. The taste isn't hideous but isn't pleasant either, the added flavour is barely there and the texture is fairly thin and chalky when using the recommended 30g serving in 300ml. Not soon after drinking I felt hot and nauseous, clearly my body was not having a good time. Usually I can chug unpalatable protein just so it doesn't go to waste, but when it actually makes me feel sick I'm not going near it again. I won't be buying this particular Bulk product again.

Whoever came up with Chocolate Mint flavor needs to be fired, I threw the whole 2.5 kg into the trash.

Best vegan protein. The only one that uses stevia at that price. Mint chocolate tastes really good, banana works too.
