Deda Elementi Carbon Handlebar Tape

The jury’s still out as I’m still building the bike. I can’t fault the look of the tape it’s exactly what I wanted. Was easy to fit. And it comes with the bar end plugs to finish it off. They are a plastic carbon look type which do the job ok.

Perfect and comfy to ride on. Fitted these myself for the first time ever and they went on really easy and have stayed strong due to tape on them. Perfect 👍🏻

Applied on my bianchi turquoise road bike. Gives it a classic look and no signs of wear and tear after 6 months

Good strong product, easy to apply. I don’t like the branding as it is almost impossible to hide and looks untidy on the bars. I won’t buy branded tape again.

Great thicc and soft tape. Coils easily and gives a lot of dampening. The only drawback you have to be okay with is that it will get dirty pretty fast when you are riding in gloves.

My average ride distance is between 20 and 30 miles. This tape provides a good level of grip and comfort. It was relatively simple to apply. The black tape supplied to finish of the ends is not particularly adhesive so I just used some regular electricians tape instead.

Had this on the handlebars for several months now and I have ridden in some very wet and very hot weather and the tape looks as good as new and still well stuck down. It is also very comfy on longer rides. I am left wondering why I did not put this tape on years ago.

Color was lighter and brighter than appears on screen. Have not used it yet.

Fermo restando per la durata (da sperimentare nei prossimi mesi), il bel colore verde Jaguar si addice alla Surly verde su cui l'ho montata, ha una buona adesività, sembra di buona qualità, e ad un ottimo prezzo; ma vi consiglio CALDAMENTE di seguire le istruzioni per il montaggio su un tutorial YouTube, in quanto dà delle dritte che non danno le istruzioni ai fini di una longevità dell'avvolgimento del nastro; per esempio l'avvolgimento DEVE iniziare dalla parte inferiore (bassa) del manubrio, dal suo lato interno (quello che dà verso il telaio), e quindi avvolgerlo in senso orario per il lato sinistro ed in senso antiorario per il lato destro; sembrano dettagli (che io personalmente ignoravo), ma che ne garantiscono la tenuta nel tempo evitando che il nastro si muova con l'uso. Questa tecnica fondamentale di avvolgimento del nastro non è descritta sulle istruzioni. Per un maggior confort in caso di cicloturismo, consiglio di installare delle strisce in gel al di sotto del nastro (oltre ad avere dei buoni guanti)

Das Lenkerband ist nicht sehr flexibel, vor dem wickeln hab ich das Band vorher mit einem Fön etwas erwärmt. Band gefällt mir auf dem Bike sehr gut. Dämpfungskomfort beim fahren null.

汚れは仕方ないが、コスパ・手触り・耐久性は良く、バーテープはデダに決めている。カラーも豊富で飽きない。
