The ghd hairdryer claims to leave your hair looking shiny whilst boosting the volume. This is a very attractive hairdryer with a sleek and simple design. I did find it quite heavy despite the small size. The hairdryer claims to use technology that allows you to focus the flow of air. I did find that this worked. I find with a lot of dryers it doesn't matter how carefully you hold them you still end up with all your hair flying all over the place. This hairdryer was definitely a lot easier to use and allowed me to be more precise. I also really like the range of power and temperature settings. One thing I found particularly useful is the long cord and the fact that the hairdryer's casing doesn't get too hot. I did really like this hairdryer, but I am not sure that the technological advantages it claims to offer are really worth the price.

I had this thinking it would be lighter than a normal hairdryer due to it's external power pack, however this is not the case it's a normal weight and certainly not light. My main problem with it is how hot it gets when drying your hair. You only have two heat settings and they are either really hot or just warm - you really need the hot one to be a little cooler so you can actually use it as you can't use it on the hot heat setting, it actually burns your scalp it's so hot and the warm setting isn't hot enough. The hype says you will have smoother hair but that's all it is - hype as a hairdryer can't achieve this, its your drying technique and products used. It's a massive disappointment. If you must buy a GHD hairdryer go for the standard one, not this professional one as you're wasting your money.

Far and away the best hairdryer I have ever used.The lead is really, really long which I like. The dryer is light since the power pack is on the floor, further along the lead. It looks an£ feels of the highest quality.I don’t know how it works but the directional feature (ie it doesn’t make the hair around the piece you’re drying fly around) is really, really clever and as a result I now produce salon quality blow drys for myself, after 50 odd years of failing! It leaves my hair perfectly styled and shiny.

Everything about this ghd hair dryer oozes class, even the fantastic and expensive looking presentation box it comes in. In terms of features it has the standard variable heat and power settings, but in use you can tell this is a very well made product. It's a little quieter than regular hair dryers and does seem to allow for a more precise and controlled hair drying experience, so is ideal for styling.

When I review products I always look at the price so that I can decide whether it's good value or not. I almost had a double take when I saw it. Well over £100 for a hair dryer! That's simply crazy. At then end of the day it's just a few heating elements, a fan and some basic controls. But okay, I'll give it a go (or at least my wife will), maybe it's truly amazing.The first thing that surprised me is the external power supply. Obviously this is an attempt to keep the weight down. I would guess that manufacturers have a maximum weight for a hand held device, like hair dryers, so the hair dryer itself was clearly quite heavy with the power supply on-board hence the external power supply. Fair enough. The cable for the supply is pretty long so that's a good thing.Controls consist of a 2 speed switch, 2 temperature setting switch and a cool shot button. Seems reasonable although for this money I think you should be able to set the temperature precisely e.g. control dial and display screen.The selling point with this dryer, I suppose, is that it is supposed to surround the hot air with a layer of cooler air. Okay, that's seems like a good feature as it should keep the body of the dryer cooler. In use this does seem to work in that the hair dryer didn't get as hot as my wife's older model. It's also supposed to aid styling. Well, to be honest, it's no better or worse than many of the other hair dryers my wife has used over the years.Is it pleasant to use? Yes.Does it do the job? Yes.Is it well built? Yes.Is it worth the crazy price? Hell no.

My old hair dryer rattled when you picked it up, got worryingly warm when you used it and it's translucent blue design was from decades gone by.This GHD Aura hair dryer is in a different league. Straight out of the box it looks like it belongs in Toni & Guy. It's sleek and well designed.It has all the usual settings which are easy to toggle whilst using and the 'cool shot' button too.There is a transformer pack, which can be a little cumbersome - but it is a powerful hair dryer.Of note, it is a little heavy then you may be expecting - definitely more so than the one it was replacing. But that extra weight is a compromise I'm ok with.

Ghd aura è l'asciugacapelli perfetto per lisciare i capelli. Io ho capelli lunghi e crespi ma con questo phon ogni volta sembro appena uscita dal parrucchiere.

No tiene potencia... le cuesta secar aunque sí aporta brillo, pero con las prisas q vamos, me gustaría q tuviera más fuerza para secar más rápido...

Lange habe ich überlegt - und dann doch endlich gekauft - und nicht bereut!Er föhnt ganz anders als meine bisherigen und zerzaust die Haare nicht - warum auch immer.Gleichmäßige Temperatur - relativ leise -. Warum auch immer, meine Haar sind schneller trocken auf eine sehr angenehme Weise und glänzen.Was mich ein wenig stört ist der Preis und das in das Kabel integrierte Kästchen - doch daran kann man sich auch irgendwie gewöhnen.Würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen.

nach 15 Monaten und nur 50 Betriebsstunden Schrott.bis dahin hat er funktionert wie man das von einem 200€ Gerät erwarten kann.War aber eher von der lauten Kategorie.Von jetzt auf gleich hat er dann den Dienst eingestellt nach 10 nur Minuten Arbeit.Nichts geht mehr.Als i-Tüpfelchen lehnt der Händler nach nur 15 Monaten Garantieantrag ab.Wer das Ding hier kauft sollte sich vorher genau schlau machen, aus unserer Sicht tuts da auch was "Preiswerteres".....

Ho comprato questo asciugacapelli con l'intento di migliorare l'effetto crespo dell'asciugatura e di avere capelli lisci senza passare la piastra. Risultato: il phon non è così veloce di altri nell'asciugare, i capelli restano crespi a meno che non si usino degli ottimi prodotti (e io uso da anni i prodotti kerastase), l'apparecchio risulta comunque pesantino avendo sempre cura di tenere in appoggio il corpo motore, non dono l'effetto volume che promette ....forse a chi ha i capelli corti. I miei capelli, lunghi e crespi, non hanno tratto alcun vantaggio da questo asciugacapelli perchè restano crespi, devo passare la piastra e non è agevole da maneggiare qualora si voglia creare un p di volume con la spazzola. Non ne consiglio l'acquisto, è caro e non risponde alle aspettative....in più non viene dato alcun sacchetto contenitore che sarebbe stato utile per il trasporto, l'azienda poteva dare di più. La consegna amazon sempre impeccabile.
