Is it Food safe?

It was designed and marketed for use in the electronics industry. It is the daddy of light grease for switches,contacts and light mechanical engeneering. It makes no ' foodsafe' claims. If you are looking for light engeneering lubricant for use in food prep areas I'd suggest PTFE grease,many of which advertise as ' foodsafe'.ROCOL do a Foodlube range that is fully certified.

Hello would this work on a O-Ring on a set of external filters on a fish/turtle tank?

Hi Zac,This silicone grease would be ideal for your needs. The only issue would be if there was any possibility of water flowing over the silicone into the tank water, which can cause a skim on the water - which is goodnight Vienna for some aquatic creatures.From your basic question, I'd say this grease was perfect for the job.Whilst writing - as you'll gave seen from my other reviews, my M-in-Law is the devil incarnate. Do you know of a tank manufacturer who makes one large enough for a wizened old crone of 78? Your question has got me thinking about taking her on a circus like roadshow, so as to get some value from her before she shuffles off this mortal coil. I think there could be quite a demand to see something that looks like Witch with the head of a turtle. Any advice gratefully received.Winko.

can i use it on a gamepad

It's not clear how you plan to use it with a game pad. To lubricate the keys or joystick perhaps? The product is electrically non-conductive, nontoxic, doesn't melt except at very high temperatures, and is less likely to dissolve plastic parts than ordinary petroleum-based grease. This is why I use it to lubricate plastic valves, and it should also work well with plastic gamepad controls.

hi, I have a pressure washer and its been advised for easy connection/o-rings don't dry up,the couplings should be greased,will this do?
