Jeyes Fluid Drain Unblocker and Deodoriser - 500ml

Does what it says on the bottle. Easy to use - just pour it down the drain, let it stand for about 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse with water. Used it on an external drain - Jeyes seems to be the only product that can be used on them as the other cleaners seem to be for kitchens and bathrooms. The liquid itself is thick and glutinous - more likely to do the job than the more watery cleaners. Not cheap but I will definitely buy it again.

I bought this to to unblock an outside kitchen drain that had standing water. I used it twice, first time for 30 minutes as suggested and second time overnight, which was suggested for stubborn blockages. Sadly neither had any effect and we ended up having to call someone in to clear the drain. It turned out the problem was soap residue from the washing machine - if you suspect that could be your problem this might not be the product for you...

Cleared one storm drain run off from roof within 24 hours that had very slow drainage.Another is still a work in progress ie. standing water (NO drainage at all), couldn't get rods to work, as seems to be completely compacted - anyway 5 days later I now have slow drainage, so that's good means it's working it's starting to work it's way slowly through and despite lots of rain, can tell with rods, layer of unblock liquid is still below water line, and rods are NOT yet effective. So hopefully it's still working. Over all very pleased as bleach, caustic soda didn't work at all.

The item arrived wrapped in a cellophane bag which is great to avoid any leaks. I used this for the an outside drain which had standing water within it, I left it in for 24 hours before flushing it with a bucket of hot water. Unfortunately it didn't unblock the drain.

Good to have around in case! Had a blocked drain recently and Dy+$ro@ suggested using this stuff, every now and then, to keep them clear. So got it in case. Not a bad price. Not used it yet, but hope i never have to.

Cleared the blockage which is what I wanted!Could be improved by putting a measuring guide on the side of the bottle, so you know how much you’re putting down the drain.

Packaging had come apart causing product to leak. Burnt hands handling box.

This done the job great just wish it could also remove the years of sto es and other debris I can't get out of drain.
