Weleda Mens After Shave Balm 100ml

Good value for money and a good product. Annoyingly the one I have used for an age is currently unavailable so I gave this a go and I’m glad actually - it’s more of a liquid than a gel and has a mild scent that’s not in any way intrusive. Works well to calm skin after shaving. Comes in a a very solid and quite retro looking green glass bottle which actually looks decent on a bathroom shelf if that sort of thing floats your boat!

I've gone through many balms in my time, but this one really deserved a review and a full five stars from me. OK, I'll say first it's a bit runny but it gets absorbed relatively fast and during that time it may feel a bit sticky on the face, but believe me once it's dry (say 10 minutes?), you are left with a very supple feeling on your face. Most of the time when I use this I hardly realise I had shaved that morning. This for me it the best aspect of this balm. It just works. And it lasts all day too. I don't get an itchy feeling later in the day or a tightening feeling after using it. The scent is very simple. I detect a bit of lemon in the opening. very mild and hidden below the chamomile which becomes ever more prominent. But the resinous incense is also in there too with a very light smoky vibe to it which should not be off-putting to anyone. It's a very inoffensive scent that disappears once you apply your cologne or parfum. It's more or less gone within the hour, yet it still protects and stays in the background keeping your face smooth. I will also say that I have experienced less ingrown hairs with this stuff. It is so soothing that I tend to get very few razor 'bumps' or spots, something that my face and skin are rather prone to. Overall, I recommend this balm to anyone with dry or sensitive skin especially and look forward to using it again and again for many years to come. Well done Weleda!

Good aftershave balm that soothes and calm the skin after shaving. It has a distinct smell from mainstream aftershaves that I have to get used to. Good overall afershave.

With the explosion of beard growth, the number of aftershave balms/moisturisers. for those of us who prefer to remain clean-shaven, has sadly grown smaller. This is ideal for day to day use. It has a soothing feel and a very light citrussy scent. There are other good ones around (such as Davidoff Cool Water) but these are a little more pricey. Nice for special occasions though.

Delicate perfume, and soothing for aging skin. Love it.

Very watering. Just nice fresh small. Nothing amazing.

I bought this for my teenage son who recently started shaving, so still has relatively sensitive and immature skin (not unlike himself!). He tried a few 'clean' products (aloe vera gel, witch hazel, etc.) which didnt quite do the trick left his skin feeling sensitive. We love Weleda brands (skin food, lip balm, all available on Amazon) so were glad to find a mens shaving product by them. My son says it leaves his skin feeling smooth and reduces the dreaded razor bumps. A great product for anyone who wishes to reduce the use of toxic products.

Siempre voy probando nuevos after shave y pocas veces repito. Pero en este caso es diferente. Hace años que uso este after y es que me encanta su aroma y protección. Además de ser un producto totalmente ecológico.

Best all natural after shave balm. Absorbs quickly with no stinging. Cools with myrrh.

Das Produkt riecht gut und desinfiziert nach der Rasur. Ich bin sehr zufrieden es legt sich wie eine kleine Cremeschicht über die Haut und zieht schnell ein.
