Worth the extra!
Despite the (currently blocked) sale of the Osram non-automotive lamps business to the Chinese, these remain the best consumer lamps on the market, in my opinion. Unlike others, the EU manufacture results in a much better product; you can tell the quality is better from the appearance of the glass and crimped section alone.
