Great price, awesome value, quality notebook, thick sheets, dotted patter, back pocket
This "Soomeet Dotted Journal Bullet Notebooks with Pen Loop, Hardcover Leather Notebook, 100Gsm Premium Thick Paper with Inner Pocket, Stickers, A5, 5.7 x 8.3 inches(Purple)" is a great deal, very good quality dotted notebook, and fraction of the price of many others. The cover is nice and thick, with a good texture, and the color is a good one too. The size is right for many purpose, I use it as my business notebook, and I carry it around all day long to meetings and such. It looks elegant and professional. The quality of the binding and paper is good. I don't get much of any bleed through as I am using regular pen on this. I like the dot pattern as that works really well for taking notes and/or drawing diagrams and jotting down ideas. I like the elastic band it has that keeps the notebook closed as I do tends to keep some business cards and scrap paper inside the notebook at times. Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

Thick, bright white paper
I was pleasantly surprised with this journal. The pages are a bright white, and a bit thinner then my old journal but they're thick enough that the writing doesn't show on the other side. For reference I used staedtler multi colored fineliner pens and black fineliners on the one side and in the video you can see there's writing when I hold the page up but not when I lay it flat. This is a good journal for bullet journaling, especially if you use stencils, stickers or a ruler, there's a convenient pocket in the back to store those items. The elastic closure and pen holder is nice too. For this price point, this a good journal to have. I would definitely recommend it.

Okay Journal, but make no mistakes
This journal is good until you make a mistake and need to take out a page. Even if you gently remove a page, the moment a thread pops the rest of the pages come out.

Soomeet's Dotted Journal Bullet Notebook is now my dotted notebook and I love it...
Soomeet's Dotted Journal Bullet Notebook is now my dotted notebook and I love it... It is a little different from the standard lined notebook but I like it a lot. Gives you the option of using and making graphs inside on your notebook. I like the banding that can help to keep it closed when closed ass well as the pen holder, which is the part that could and should be better but still overall it is very nice. It looks good and feels good. Good day & God bless... Randall M. Rueff K9RMR

Presentable, clean product
I have just received the Soomeet lined notebook journal with 100gs/m white paper, alphabet stickers, in the A5 / 5.7" x 8.3" size with the purple hardcover. I am a fan of white paper over ivory, so for me this was a personal plus, along with my favorite color for the exterior. The product listing however does say "light ivory color". This journal comes with a copper satin ribbon, bright purple elastic and matching purple pen loop. Unlike some other brands, and like some brands, the Soomeet has no external logo/embossing/accents added. [Sizes and Pages] You get 160 pages which are not numbered in this journal. The journal is slightly bigger than the Blisstionery, by .3" wider. This really doesn't make much of any functional difference width-wise. The Soomeet journal has a much darker, and wider, dot grid than the Blisstionery does. If this affects your ability to focus when writing, it's worth taking into consideration. I prefer fine, pale dots, but everyone's preferences will vary! [The Price Points Wiggle Across Colors Offered] I noticed that unlike the Soomeet dotted journals, the same-size lined journal's price points are the same regardless of color, save that the black is a dollar cheaper. Blisstionery costs $9.47. Leuchtturms cost $23+. Moleskines vary. Exceed runs around $9.99. You can effectively treat yourself to two or more of these journals for a color-coded project for the cost of one Leuchtturm and won't need to make a separate order for a while with the Soomeet journal. This journal runs $8.99 for the black and $9.99 for the lime, light blue, pink, yellow and the purple colors at time of review, on sale from $11.99. [Stickers] You get the notebook with three alphabet sticker sheets in pastel pink, light blue and purple; the colors on the product page for the stickers are much brighter than what I received (this is not a problem to me; my 'lilac' stickers are a pale greyish color, for example). The stickers are a fun inclusion, and may appeal to some buyers. [Performance] The notebook lays flat when you open it as promised. The elastics are stitched together very well. The covers do bend a slight bit compared to the studier Blisstionery, Exceed, Moleskine, and Colorverse Nebula which I have on hand and have compared this to. The pages are not numbered. There is no internal ornamentation- no pre-printed pages for you to fill in, no label stickers- this is a very bare bones product, which you may really appreciate if you're tired of the pre-printed stuff that other brands sometimes include which occupy pages. The Soomeet's interior pocket feels flimsier than Blisstionery's, but only by a bit. It's got shiny satin ribbon-like sides, however, which adds a bit of bulk. This looks really good, and I enjoy shiny, but if this is for greater durability, I want to see the rest of the 'pocket' perform similarly. Make the rest of it fabric, or if that will add too much cost, just use a thicker paper for the front. The thinness of this front pocket looks and feels like a regular endpaper folded over (and practically is), and that's concerning for durability's sake if used extensively. Thankfully I'm not personally a pocket-using type of person, but this is bordering flimsy, and I really don't like that- and I don't think other users will either. The Blisstionery and the Soomeet journals both have what feels to be the exact same paper, and I wonder if they use the same paper manufacturer? In this product, the lines are straight and not wobbly or off-angled. [Ghosting/use] The Soomeet slightly outperforms the Blisstionery and the Colorverse Nebula in terms of ghosting, which I found to be a pleasant surprise! I tested with pencil, Private Reserve fountain pen ink, Sakura micron 01 pen, Sarasa fine marker, Sharpie, a Zebra water-based metallic marker, and a Mildliner marker. All of them performed really well and barely ghosted. In the picture I uploaded, the Soomeet being tested is the white, back journal; the Blisstionery is in the front for comparison. [Color Options] The current color options are a fun start. I would love to see a further color range available, but honestly... purple. It's my favorite color, so I'm really happy with Soomeet for making one in this color. I would love to see Soomeet expand its color range, but at a united price point. [Verdict] I really like the white paper, and often actively seek out journals which use white as I'm a fountain pen person who loves full color clarity of my ink collection. Soomeet's up front with what they made. I'm not used to using lines as I prefer dotted, but now I have a lined and a dotted pair of purple journals by Soomeet and find I love them both! I would like to see the ribbon color match the journal or be straight black; the reddish ribbon seems out of place in that regard. I want to see the covers be tougher, though, and not bend. I rated the matching dotted journal 3 stars due to the price variance across colors and the softer cover. This particular lined product doesn't have the bendy cover so I'm bumping this up to 4 stars.
