It’s corn cob bedding
I used this for my birdcage. It has no odor, very little dust. Not much more to say than this was one of the least expensive I could find and it did the job. Great quality for a low price.

Works well for ducklings
It’s really hard to find good bedding for a baby duckling. Pine shavings hard on their webbed feet, paper shavings (or cardboard or fiber) gets mushy really fast as ducklings love their water. I purchased some corn husk pieces and this seems to be the perfect medium especially when they are kept in an enclosure in the house. I’m using wood shavings under the water as it seems to absorb without disintegrating. The corn cobs are gentle on their feet and easy to clean their many droppings which they do a lot. I gave it 4 stars the product itself deserves 5 but the packaging is awful and I wonder how much was lost during the long shipping, because when I put the box down it comes out the bottom every time and makes a mess everywhere it’s really bad packaging I feel sorry for the ups driver who’s wondering where all the crumbs came from.

Great solution to paper products.
I am very happy that I bought this product and tried it out with my ringneck dove. It’s a very large cage and is perfect in the tray at the bottom. I cleaned it out like it was litter and it lasts a lot longer than using newspaper, paper bags, or store-bought paper sheets. I’m never going back.

Our little piggies love it and so do we!
We have started to use it as a base layer in our guinea pigs cage under the shredded paper litter, which is really expensive--the cage is large had has to be cleaned at least 2x weekly--the paper shreds were costing more and more so we started adding a layer of this underneath and we are able to "stretch" the paper little making things more economical for caring for our little guys! Easy to use and clean up after, no odor, perfect for what we needed--we will continue to order for our little Mario and Luigi!

1ST time use with paired parakeets -looks to be A-OK. Will be keeping watch-storing away /watching out for mice.
