Finish Line: Dispelling Fear, Finding Peace, and Preparing for the End of Your Life

Personally I wish we had this book when our 15-year-old daughter Elizabeth suddenly and expectedly passed away 13 years ago. We were in shock. Although we were members of our church and our church family tried to rally around us we really had no one to turn to for practical and biblical advice. Two months later my Mom passed away. Thankfully she and my Dad had made plans for her passing. Fast forward 3 years ago. My Dad passed. Again he had a well thought out plan in place for his final wishes. As a result we were able to focus entirely on him and make his passing as easy and loving as we possibly could. As I look ahead to my own passing I am taking the lessons I learned from this book to heart to make sure I make my passing as easy as I can for my wife and children. One must have a well thought out plan for this eventually. God bless you!

Seems like this book got published simply because the author is in the publishing business. If you wrote this book it 100% would not have made it to print. Maybe a small group of his friends or family might want to read this. But you would be way better off reading Rob Moll.

The writing and chapters seemed to be all over the place. The first couple chapters offered promise for a rewarding read but as the book went along I struggled with the connection of what was being written and the title of the book. At the close I was very disappointed because I had looked forward to reading the book. Wish I had not purchased it.

As I prepare to meet Jesus face to face, I am taking necessary time and actions to do so decently and in order as my heavenly Father has instructed us to run this race he has assigned. This book is a great help with the thoughts during the process.
