I like.
Quick review. It plays. I could play anything because it's chromatically obviously. There was a plastic shroud around one of the screws on the mouth part that kept getting the screw it was wrapped around loose when I'd use the slide so I removed the shroud. The plastic shroud is there to deaden the sound of the the slide when it hits the screw. I don't mind so no minus-star.If you have a mustache that droops past the top edge of your lip, the slide tends snag mustaches painfully. Solution: trim mustache. Well, no one lets their mustache get that long anyway.Random thoughts: I don't have the patience to learn to how bend on a diatonic. I just want to "play" so I don't know if it is capable of that gritty bend sound. Hard instrument to learn actually. I'm 5ish months; ~2 hours a day in. I can play "anything" but I can't play naturally; not smoothly; not beautifully. If you ever played a ocarina, this is like five steps above that learning-wise. Maybe more. Or maybe it's a mentality thing. IDK. If you're like me and just like "playing" and you think you won't get bored of it after two days, get something with 12 holes. Not kidding, I really wish I had those two low notes. This is an okay harmonica though. Practice it on the go. For your daily walks or whatever.

Very good quality for such a cheap price
I love this harmonica!! I bought it to replace a harmonica I lost, and I was very pleased to find it sounded just the same, if not better! I would recommend this to everyone!!

Do U believe in Magic?
Magic. Clarity from end to end. The tremelo (vibrato?) gets a small electric keyboard sound with a note or chord that fills the room. Not for beginners; better with the 10 hole. But Im an intermediary player and theclarity of the sound helps lift me up to a Yomans status. At times, Magical, had me tingling, like the times you hit just right and you kmow youll never get it any better. Kudos to Swan.(P.S.: What wood the $37 or $47 Harmonica have thats 2X & 3X more expensive)?

Good sound, nice and simple
I pay a variety of instruments, some well, but for some reason I have a hard time with the harmonica. I got this because it's the most basic one you can buy, A blues harmonica in the key of C! It seems decently made and sounds really good. Despite its basic nature, I have heard people do amazing things with something as simple as this. I'm still struggling, but I can dream!

When you got to sing the blues
Or play the blues I guess.I'd blown into them before but I didn't own a harmonica at the moment so I wanted to check out this SWAN New 1020HW 10 Hole Blues Harmonica in C-Key.They call it their signature model for playing the blues.I've had a couple of people tell me actually that getting back into wind instruments would be good for my asthma, so any excuse to try and play another instrument is great as far as I'm concerned. It'll be cool to whip this out when we're sitting around a campfire. Or I've taken it out to play with my mom just when we're singing and playing music. Or it's handy for the musical portion of my creative arts therapy coaching.

Good gift
My dad is a musician and just loves random instruments. He mentioned wanting a harmonica so I got this one. He loves it, and says it's a lot of fun. I think it's a great price for a beginner or people just messin' around.

Brilliant harmonica for the beginner or average player
This harmonica is exactly as described. It plays real easily and clean. I had no trouble playing bends either, at least to the level I can play. I love having it on me for whenever I feel like fiddling around with a tune. It seems to be built well and looks like it will last a long time with proper care. This was a great purchase.
