A great budget option for your young Padawan
I selected this item through the Vine program to compare with another lightsaber I received.First off, there’s no way you can have just one lightsaber. Sure, it’s fun to chase your pets and kids around, but you’re going to want to test it against a worthy opponent eventually. That means you need two lightsabers at the very least! In terms of build quality, I would describe this item as sturdy. It’s rather plain as far as lightsabers go, but the simple and clean design is highly functional. It has good weight in the hand and is easy to swing around. The instructions are pretty awful though, almost not worth including. In comparison to the Adawlert brand lightsaber, it’s lacking a bit. The screws that secure the blade sit a bit proud and not recessed into the handle. The entire lower handle needs to be disassembled in order to charge, and it came completely dead. It also has fewer programming options and the overall length of useable blade is 6” shorter. That being said, it’s currently $40 cheaper.Personally, I like this lightsaber. It’s the perfect companion to my longer blade. Sort of a katana and wakizashi setup. It would also be better for kids due to the shorter length and handle. However, I would suggest something else as your primary lightsaber if you’re a full grown manchild like me.For more info on the Amazon Vine program, check the official page https://www.amazon.com/vine/about

Wow, VERY impressed with this!
Given the pricepoint I wasn't sure what to expect from this but I must say I am VERY impressed. It's very sturdy and well put together, the way the saber part connects to the rod is a bit odd but once put together this thing isn't going anywhere. The various light modes, colors, sounds, and voices are insane, borderline overwhelming I may even say but very impressed with that. The motion and sound piece is very fluid and makes sense. It also reacts well to when being struck or striking so good job on that. This thing can also take a beating, I mainly grabbed it to play with my 4/5 year old son and was getting tired of being hit in the hands when using his size lightsabers, like I said, it's well built and has good weight on the handle so again, great job! Some of the not so great things:In order to charge it, you need to take a few things apart which in the grand scheme of things isn't that big a deal since it keeps the charge for quite some timeGoing in between the sound modes is a bit confusing because if you take too long then you affect something else, if you do it too fast then it enter sleep mode

One of the best
The media could not be loaded. It's the best functioning light Saber that I've ever seen. The colors are bright and vibrant. The voice sounds good and intimidating. The handle is all steel and very high quality. What I don't like is, you have to unscrew the handle to charge. The functions are difficult to remember because they aren't very traditional. 8 second hold to shit off and 4 second holds and 2 seconds. See my picture of instructions. It's a good, high quality light Saber that requires reading the instructions.
