Another option is to get the Blutooth Dongle and use iPhone or Android with VescTool App. I fabricated a harness that incorporates wires needed, I have not decided which screen I will try yet. **Q: Would this work on a 24v/14ah/20hr lead acid battery? i want to test it on my kids ride on car before i upgrade to a 12s lipo battery config...** A: Yes, I used a VESC based motor controller for a powerewheels mod with variable throttle. 12v may be too low. I did 24v. You have to tell the vesc software you have DC motors if you go that route. **Q: Is it plug and play? Three plug throttle, hall wires, negative and positive and that's it? Anything special?** A: No it is not plug and play.
