Installed it myself!
We needed our keyless entry panel replaced for a few years now. The old one had a cracked case, was discolored and wouldn’t work if the temp was too cold. My husband insisted we didn’t need a new one, because the kids are grown and we don’t use it very often anymore. I was sick of looking at it, so I ordered this and put it on his workbench. A week went by and I decided to take care of it myself. It was so easy! I watched a video, got a ladder and programmed it to my garage door opener. I tested it to be sure I programmed it correctly, then I used a screwdriver to remove the old one, and replaced it with this. It was so easy thanks to the video and took me less than a 1/2 hour total, which included pulling my car out of my garage and getting a ladder out of the shed to reach the opener to sync the device. I am not mechanically inclined or tech savvy at all! If I can install this, anyone can. I also like how sturdy this one is, the cover is thicker and latches into place to cover and protect the key pad. The keys are larger and connect much better than the old one did. We always had to wiggle and press the key until it would register. Great item at a great price.

This works with Genie ProMax
Bought a store brand that was supposed to work, it did not, this one was SUPER easy to program and works like a charm! Highly recommend if you have a Genie garage door opener

Battery compartment too big to hold in batteries
Puting in the batteries, they would not stay in place. I had to bend springs so they would hold batteries AND put a spacer in compartment that was too big and sloppy to secure batteries. Good thing I’m handy.
