KitchenAid RVSA - Mixer/Food Processor Accessories

As with all KitchenAid attachments, this ain't cheap! However, this thing really works, is high quality and easy to clean as it goes in the dishwasher. It does what it says on the tin, if you've paid out for the mixer, you're crazy not to buy it. Very pleased indeed ;0)

Good set for my mother's Kitchenaid and all Kitchenaid robot stands. The company came out with new tools that replace these ones, but after having talked with people about it I opted for the good old ones. They are resistant, robust and reliable. Great to start meals everyday: I use mine a lot to prepare carrot or cabbage, etc. salads as starters or, potatoes for gratin just to cite a few examples...Easy to insert in and to take out from the Kitchenaid stand thanks to a plastic housing piece with its metal shaft these 2 slicers and 2 shredders (there is a thin or coarse option for each of them) are made of stainless steel so you will never have any problems with rust. I love the fact all the parts are easy to wash by hand. I use cold water especially for carrots because I do not want the plastic to be stained. Kitchenaid included a user manual in case of.

I've seen many other reviews for this product and Honestly it works fine. Yes you have to hand wash as well as dry the inserts immediately because they are not stainless steel and can potentially rust. Yes it shredders and slices all sorts of foods. You do need to prep said foods to fit properly in the mechanism. As well as be patient, this isn't home improvement ( if anybody remembers that show ) and your trying to see whats the fastest way you can slice and shred your foods, Cause honestly if you do try (which i did) your just gonna end up with mush. So i guess technically it makes this attachment count as a food processor as well lol. All in All the attachment is great. I don't recommend purchasing if your just using it to shred or slice one thing here and there. This is meant for (Multiples) larger family dinners, prep foods, things like that. if you just trying to slice 1 cucumber up.... grab a knife, it'll be much quicker.
