Battery Operated Potters Wheel Set with Clay

At first it didn't work. My your daughter was devastated on christmas day so instead of delaying and sending back we fixed it ourselves. We cleaned the cogs and refitted the motor - and it worked perfectly! Once working it is a great piece of kit for the price. We may have been unlucky with a duff one... Depends how lucky you are feeling

I researched on the internet some alternative potters wheels for children that were battery operated and was pleased I opted for this one. With any childs wheel it helps to add a small amount of water and manipulate the clay first to soften it, this then makes to easier to shape on the wheel. You have to remember the unit is battery powered so you can't apply too much pressure onto the clay as wheel moves, or the wheel stops. Slow and steady is my recommendation, and a selection of small dishes and pots can be made and painted. My six year old daughter has enjoyed it, and has been making clay candle holders with tea lights in for relatives. Enjoyable for all the family!

This product has been bought as a christmas present for my grand daughter, and from what i can see she is going to have great fun with it.

You need to apply pressure to get the shapes to form but any pressure applied and it stops the wheel spinning

Packaging damaged and not high quality.

really good product and they sent extra bits as well which was a nice surpirse! It is a pressnet for a little girl who is going to love it. Don't forget to put your own batteries in though!
