Practically perfect
After extensive (well, pretty much!)searching online, this CH products yoke was one of two that I could find for purchase. The other one, however, was only for sale for time to time on some corner of eBay, and did not look like the kind of reliable thing that I wanted to supplement my real-life flying with. So, I bought this one.I found immediately that it had a nice range of movement, and a well chosen weight behind the movement - you don't want to inadvertantly flick your nose over your head during the landing flare, as is possible on lighter controllers! It gives a satisfying feeling during the flying, and feels a lot more authentic than the joystick I previously used to use.It comes with quite a few buttons for the hands when on the yoke - more than enough to personalise your shortcuts with, a view-hat switch (which lets you look around the cockpit with ease), a vertical trim rocker switch (very useful!) and a rudder trim rocker switch. There are also two push up or down buttons, which I use for flaps and landing gear, and of course the throttle, prop and mixture levers. These were firm to the grip, nice and chunky, and smooth without being too smooth to handle. The yoke comes with two adjustable clips, for want of a better word, intended for attaching the yoke to the table. Unfortunately this system didn't really work out so well, with the yoke rocking when I pushed it forward or pulled it back, but wedging a mousemat under the back solved this fine.Needless to say, all that was needed was to plug the cable into the USB port, and within seconds it was recognised by Flight Simulator, no calibration needed.Coupled with the pedals, this made for a great transformation of the Flight Simulator experience. There could have been a few improvements, such as a better attachment system to the worktop, but as it is it's brilliant, and I highly recommend it.

Great control For flying or elite dangerous
Arrived very quickly thanks Amazon. Its a lot of money so be sure its what you want.Feels more fragile than expected,no worse than saitek yoke.Which also feels lightweight. The controller is very precise and smooth in operation. You set rudder to the switches if you dont have pedals.FSX sets most of the buttons and levers for you.The yoke move about 240 degrees left to right, using spring tension, which gives a firm even feel. The levers are very smooth in operation.Loads of buttons and switches. So they've been tested in elite dangerous, fine for cargo haulers out there.Combat types should stick with joysticks or keyboard. The company who make these has a great reputation for long lasting products,so hopefully won't need the two year limited warranty.

Still very pleased after 1 year
I've owned this since April 2017 and it's worked perfectly with no problems. I mostly like flying the PMDG 737s under MSFSX and this yoke makes everything, especially a visual manual (non precision?) landing, a good bit easier and provides much better control of the simulation than the previous joysticks I've owned. The unit has neither been modified nor lubricated as some users have recommended. I've been perfectly happy with the feel and operation of the yoke as it came out of the box.

MY REVIEW NOT WORTH THE MONEY
When i bought my yoke i was really excited that i was it was going to be like fllying a real plane but when i got the yoke it really looked very cheap!! I was dissapointed because i paid so much for it...but i plodded on and it worked fine but after 6 month it was just a nightmare! the shaft gets really stiff because its made from cheap plastic and when you turned it to the left it took about 5 seconds because there was a techinical fault inside the yoke itself...im now looking for a really good joystick...something that works!....HONESTLY..if you do buy it you'l see how crappy the plastic looks and you will be disapointed!!!

Good quality and correct sensitivity on bank and pitch
Good quality and correct sensitivity on bank and pitch. certainly enough buttons and switches but the trim toggles are quite adequate for approaches. I would certainly buy this yoke for flight sim operation. So smooth.

Better than using the keyboard or mouse, but overpriced
The CH yoke certainly makes a difference from using a keyboard or mouse, and makes flight simulators more realistic. However, having flown real-life Cessnas, the CH yoke is poor imitation of the real thing - it feels cheap and plasticky, and the elevator control seems to be a bit "sticky" in that it doesn't move smoothly in and out (although the aileron movement is smooth). There are no instructions or manual with the yoke. Although it is pretty obvious how it works and is very simple to set up, it would be nice to have some information about maintenance, problems, etc.Overall, I don't really think the device is worth the price. However, because there is no other flight sim yoke on the market I would reluctantly recommend it (at least, until something better or cheaper comes along).

Well pleased with this !
This was the second attempt at finding a suitable yoke. I first of all tried the Sa***k yoke and throttle system as I really thought that was going to be 'the bees knees', but, whether it is now manufactured or just sold by a different company I'm not sure. I was disapointed by the whole 'feel' of the item, so much so that I returned it to amazon ( and I've got to compliment them on their service - excellent. After a month or so I decided to try again and ordered the CH Yoke. Well pleased with the item, it has the right weight of 'feel' and the numerous buttons do make for easier control of sim items. I would certainly recommend this item.

Nice product
I used it for few years now and I'm realy happy with it. Highly configurable with many options and settings. Practicaly, you can fly with it almost without using keyboard. Flying helicopters is a bit of a challenge but it is not exactly design for this.
