I cut my own hair. These shears have very fine serrated edge that keeps the hair in place till i snip it. Nothing slips as often happens with smooth edge shears. They are designed for beginners, but when cutting own hair, anything helps.

Jaguar is a good,well known brand of shears
Not stainless Steele - that I expected, it’s a cobalt material. Not awful,but not as I read.I own an older stainless Steele Jaguar model. pair, 20 yrs old,still great quality. They are good for the price,Jaguars make good shears.I will return and possibly order more expensive style,stainless Steele.Would help if description was in English

Great scissors
Great for cutting my family's hair. Very sharp blades. These are better than the original scissors that came with my Wahl professional kit. These are the entry level scissors by Jaguar but I feel they are very good and could likely be used in a barber shop but their longevity may be shorter than top tier as they use harder steel etc.. The finger and thumb hole are smaller than my Wahl generic scissors but only the end of your thumb is supposed to go in the hole apparently anyways and my ring finger fits nicely into the other. The holes fit me with both rubber rings in place and you can easily take out one or both rings if you need a bit more room. I usually take a size L or XL in men's gloves but my fingers are not thick like a sausage either. Watch a few barber scissor YouTube videos for ideas on how tight to have the screw, hand position, oiling frequency and cutting tricks.
