I love the absorbency and yet keeps my hair from drying out like regular cotton towels

The absorbency is awesome for long thick Hair and very soft. Washes well.

Large enough for braids!

These microfiber hair towels are a good alternative to using an extra bathtowel. They are lightweight,soft and do get your hair damp-dry. They are comfortable enough that I need to remind myself to take it off before unwanted wrinkles happen in my drying hair.

With my long hair, normal microfiber hair towels are never large enough. This is the first towel that completely surrounds my hair. One thing to be prepared for is that because it is just a rectangle (no curved edges to go around head and help keep twist small), it gets bulky. It also slides off easier. Overall it does the job, and is soft and absorbent, but there is a learning curve with figuring out what works best for keeping it tight and on your head.

Disclaimer: I have fairly thin hair, but once I figured out how to put this on, ie: re-open the item's page to find the picture of the instructions there since they are /not/ included in any way with the packaging, it did its job.It's not the softest of fabrics, but it's still quite soft and feels nice. I forgot it was on my head after a couple minutes. Doesn't weigh much and doesn't retain or release too much heat which is nice.Claims it's "anti-frizz" which for my hair at least is accurate. The towels themselves don't really seem to produce any static buildups out of the package.The button is a good large sized and solid wooden button. Mine were all well sewn into the fabric and resilient to bending/snapping or being snagged and pulled off. Where I personally had difficulty was looping said button through the elastic loop to secure it. I have arthritic hands. While the elastic is the appropriate size for the button, a normal button hole would've been much nicer and easier to secure. That aside, once buttoned it held snugly and the towel did stay put on my head.Again, I have fairly thin hair, but when I removed it my hair was dry and the towel was about as damp as my towels get drying my hair by hand. I had it on for about 90 mins, but my hair seemed dry about as fast as it would've alone, but instead of my shirt absorbing the water, this towel did. It doesn't / didn't drip or leak any water for me.I thought to mention, but it does fit and hug my head very nicely. With some small adjustments these would make really comfy nightcaps :)I personally plan to sew in a button hole on these to replace the elastics.

These are microfiber and are VERY absorbent. I have never owned hair wraps before, so I have nothing to compare them with but I am glad I ordered these. Not only is it fun to put the wrap on and tuck the loop around the button on top of my head, it makes hair care simpler and faster. Leave this on for a 5-10 minutes, and it cuts way back on the time needed for the hair dryer. Keeps the hair out of the way which I never appreciated until I started using these wraps. They are also quite pretty colors and are easy to hang on just about any hook in the bathroom. Good buy.
