Almost as good as original Hurricane gel
This worked quickly, and better than I expected, because I've heard others say that nothing beats the old recipe of Hurricane gel.

It works well, but seems to require more than I realized
Has a good taste, but benzocaine doesn’t last as long as I imagined it should. I would guess I don’t really have much of a reference point except for the times they’ve used it on my cheek and gums at the dentist’s office prior to getting a lidocaine injection. It’s similar in the sense that after you apply it (I use a single Q-tip style of swab on the wood stick) and then sit and wait about five minutes I’ll find my throat is numb, same as at the dentist.

Basically a better tasting orajel :)
This product is definitely worth the money! I tried it last night on the back of my throat and it numbed it sooo well. ;)It lasted about 20min or so, but I did drink liquid probably too soon after application. I expect it to last longer next time.I’m not sure if it’s because of the lidocaine or because my throat was already sore but there was that slight tingling on my tonsils when applied. Nothing painful or discomforting. Just a nice tingle. And tastes great! I plan on using this for my kids also when they have an oral problem.

Works and tastes great
This product works well, lasts about 15-20 minutes. Better than most others I've tried.

IT'S LIKE PULLING TEETH...
to find a product that provides great pain relief, is affordable and easy to find. For me this is not it. Oddest feeling; felt like tooth in cast heavy and sort of numb but still felt PAIN. Unfortunately have used nearly all oral products and I'm sorry but Oragel wins again hands down. I am having ongoing Oral Surgery which I hope ALL of you avoid and there is nothing like the sweet relief the minute the gel (favor over creme) makes contact. I mean it is instant. That's the ticket damn it. For those who do use Oragel I have a tip. Cost effectively (I use volumes) snip tube in half when feel it burping air and grab q-tip (organic cotton ones are harder but regular will sop up all your gel. Really wanted to like this product. It's just weird. Wishing all the best.

Numb, not bubble gum
It works great at numbing my sore spots. Does NOT taste like bubble gum. Not a horrible taste but definitely not bubble gum. I normally use the wild cherry hurricane gel but I saw this and thought the bubble gum flavor sounded nice so I bought it to try. It works well enough but they didn't get the flavor right which was the whole point of me buying this product. I think I'll stick with my wild cherry hurricane gel from now on.

Absolutely a lifesaver!
This stuff is great. Broke an upper back molar on holiday vacation with family. Didn’t have any pain until just recently and have not had time with work schedule to get in to be seen. Was starting to get horrible pain radiating to jaw and down the neck, getting migraine headaches and just plain miserable. The only thing that seemed to eliminate it temporarily was thorough brushing and repeated mouthwash rinses. Hard to get things done when you’re pausing at least once an hour to brush. A tiny bit of this on the end of a Q tip and applied to the tooth and gums surrounding, pain gone in seconds. As was the sensation in that quarter of the mouth and half the tongue lol. A little bit goes a LONG way, like barely touching the gel and applying. Mouth will water immensely after applying, just hold it in on affected side for a minute or two then spit. Pain gone for hours. Giving as a gift to a few friends as well, this is one you’ll want to keep in the medicine cabinet next to the Tylenol and other typical stuff.
