I use a lot of different locks at work. I bought this for home to secure a generator onto a hitch basket behind my bus. I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived as it is bigger than expected and quite heavy. When you open or close the shackle it has a nice robust click. Time will tell if it holds up to the weather. This is a good quality lock and great value for money. If you’re in the market for a robust lock, this is a great option.

This lock is very sturdy, as shown, and of excellent quality. I like that it has four keys with it.

THIS IS A GOOD STURDY LOCK.....BUT IN THE WINTER TIME IT HOLDS WATER AND WILL FREEZE UP.....YOU WILL HAVE TO WARM IT UP IN ORDER TO OPEN IT.....IT ALSO WILL RUST ON THE INSIDE OF THE LOCK MECHANISM.....IT STILL WORKS WELL.....BUT I WILL HAVE TO FIND A WEATHER PROOF LUBRICANT TO PROTECT THE INTERNAL PARTS.....THAT IS WHY I ONLY GAVE 4 STARS.....

I give this lock 5 stars for security, however, because in less than a months usuage I have rustty water ouring out of 2 holes in the lock, I would rate durability of lock at 2 stars or less. This is a high security lock and when it becomes too rusty internally to operate, the locks security will work against me. The amount of rusty water pouring out of the lock amazzes me, the lock cylinder is supposed to be brass and brass doesn't rust, and the hasp is plated, so apparetnly the inside of the lock is not plated as the outsdie of the lock is, and apparenlty the lock is designed to sell, but not to last!

Heavy duty lock, that you have to lock in order for it to close, or else it will not release the key(s). Took some getting used to but I like it very much.

If this doesn't keep them out most nothing will. It's a very heavy duty lock. Which I use on a shed. I haven't had any trouble with and no one able to get in. I would buy this again.

Is large and heavy duty. Exactly what i wanted. Would buy again. One minor issue. Key remains in the lock when not locked. Not a major issue but worth mentioning.

Heavy duty lock, I would have given a 5 star but the product I got seemed used and a return. The box was tore open and the lock has some pits in the metal on the edge.
