KONGExtreme Flyer - Durable Rubber, Soft Flying Disc for Power Chewers, Black - Large Dogs

I was surprised at first as it’s not a firm frisbee at all and takes some skill to throw it a distance. But my dog loves it, he’s on his second one now after losing his in a river

We had the red version, which has lasted 4 years of near daily use. We thought we would give the black one a go. What a fail!Opened the packet last night when it was delivered. Surprised to see it folded in half ( the red ones are packaged flat). Almost toxic smell of rubber filled the kitchen. The black one absolutely STINKS. Unfolded it and noticed the middle wasn't as black as the rest of it but thought it was just the way it's been stored folded.We took it with us this morning and from the first throw it was obvious it wasn't 'flying' like the red one did. It kept turning on its side. I don't proffess to be a champion frisbee flinger, but I can normally throw a pretty good one!5 throws. That is all we got out of this frisbee. It split and then tore like thin paper. I immediately removed it from our dog ( who as mentioned before has had a red version for 4 years!).This product is falsely marketed as a tough product. our dog isn't a rough player - she has soft toys from when she was 8 weeks old without a mark on them. This frisbee should last more than 10 mins in the park!! I honestly think the white part on the frisbee when opening was a sign of the rubber having perished.I'm normally one of Kongs biggest advocates - being a registered breeder, we always recommend Kong toys to the new families. We have Kong wobblers, Kong classics, airdog, puppy goodie, various sized snugga wubbas, wild knots bears, alligator, signature sticks, jumblers.. we have so many Kong products we should have shares tbh but this has really soured my opinion of the brand.

Purchased for some outdoor fun, and my dog loved it. Admittedly she hasn't quite grasped the concept of letting me toss it yet, but she does love running around with it flapping in her mouth - while sporting the patent dalmatian grin. It's not a toy I ever intended to let her use inside, as she prefers to demolish and eat everything she gets her smiling little mouth on - which is why I prefer the Kong rubber toys for her.The Frisbee isn't thick, but for strictly outdoor play where she won't get the idea to rip in to pieces and eat it, I'd say its perfect. After all, it's a toy meant for tossing, not to be used in tug of war, and from my experience, it works exactly as it should.

Too big for my dog- so I had to purchase another smaller one! He's an expensive item! But he loves a frisbee. Kong are the best.

I ordered 3 of these (Like the impatient idiot i am), and each one that was inside the package, was folded in half and individually packaged. First mistake was folding it, and storing it folded, as the rubber has taken the shape of the fold, so now the disc is basically hinged in the middle.The disk is too thin to fly properly, not rigid enough to withstand even the smallest bit of wind without nosediving sideways into the ground. I'm not sure if the hinging effect provided by the idiots packaging has anything to do with this.This product is basically misbranded, or a FAKE. For Kong to call this their EXTREME flyer is a total leap. My dog had eaten through the first one within the first half an hour of throwing it for her. I had a red kong flyer large that lasted me a month and a half before she managed to get a small hole in it and subsequently tear it asunder.To summarise:NOT THICK ENOUGH TO FLY WELL.WAY LESS DURABLE THAN THE NON-EXTREME "NORMAL" KONG FLYERFOLDED IN HALF!! AND STORED LIKE THAT FOR ENOUGH TIME TO INTRODUCE A BEND IN THE FLYER!FLIMSY AND FLOPPY AND BENT. VERY UNLIKE KONG.OVERPRICED FOR THE QUALITY AND AMOUNT OF RAW MATERIALS USED TO MAKE IT.DISAPPOINTING.

Bought this for my 2 dogs have bought several king items over the years unfortunately this was not one of my best buys, flimsy rubber did not last 5 minutes

Ignore the nay-sayers, this frisbee is fantastic! This is my second one, last one I bought about 5 months ago and my large boisterous German shepherd has been playing with it daily in our large garden every single day we chuck it back and forth for at least 15 mins per day, sometimes a few times a day. We throw it across about 1/2 an acre, it throws quite well you just have to practise a little, flies much better than our last bunch of frisbees. It's soft so it doesn't cut my dogs gums and he can pick it up and carry it no bother at all. The only reason I had to buy a new one was all of a sudden he was determined to distroy it, it took him some effort used his paw to hold it down and rip it - little monster!My dog LOVES this frisbee, it sits at the back door and he picks it up every single time we go out the door. The only other robust frisbee we've bought for him was from PAH and they last 2-3 days, are £2.99 each and cut his gums after a while and do not throw well after first session. I totally recommend this for all dog owners, especially if your dog goes through regular frisbee regularly.

Like others here, we previously had a red heavier Kong Frisbee which lasted years. This one lasted less than a fortnight and my dog (Belgian Shepherd) was never left to chew it alone; it was only ever played with as intended and then put away. As soon as it arrived I wondered how it could possibly be "Extreme" as it was MUCH lighter weight than the old one. Sure enough, a puncture mark appeared very quickly and this soon extended to a full length split. Absolute waste of money. Buy the more expensive non "Extreme" version because the only "Extreme" here is how lightweight and flimsy it is. I didn't believe the other reviews. More fool me.

No es muy resistente en cuanto a mi experiencia con mi pitbull, pero aún no lo termina de romper porque solo literal lo uso de frisbee, pero les encanta, buen producto y lo volvería a comprar
