The padding on the head band of my Sennheiser HD 280 PRO headphones was beginning to tear so I bought this cover to stop the padding from tearing more. The cover is tight around the head band and stays zipped up. The cover doesn't slip around. The quality of the material seems to be good enough to last for a few years of regular use. The head band width of my headphones is about 1.25 inches. If your head band is much wider than 1.25 inches, then the material should stretch enough to fit up to 1.75 inches as written in the item description "Fits for headband width from 1.25” to 1.75”" Remember, do not remove the old head band padding on your headphones. this "sleeve" is a perfect solution for the ever popular "peeling" of the soft material from the expensive headphones. The sleeve has a zipper and also it is stretches so it fits really snuggly to the headphone column. This stops all the wear and tear on the headphone material and it is very comfortable on your head. someone thought this through and it is great idea.

I wear big headphones a lot. My partner works from home so blasting music or an audiobook while I go about my day would be a total eggplant move (if you catch my drift). My issue is that the stupid plastic coating on the headphone fittings eventually crackle apart and make you look like you have some weird infestation in your hair.
