I love Henne and wished I had discovered it decades ago
I love Henne and wished I had discovered it decades ago. I always knew of its existence but everyone that I knew used it had the very coppery colour which I did not like. Then as grey hairs appeared a friend explained the different colours and that the chestnut will cover grey and can be covered again with the brown which is a dark brown. My hair is naturally frizzy and dry, or it was. Not anymore, now it is very shiny and feels soft and lovely. It is very curly hair but still looks shiny. I have also discovered the Indigo powder which you mix with chestnut Henne and this covers grey brilliantly though can make hair black if left on too long. So last time, two months ago, I used one part Indigo and two parts henne, and hair went very dark brown/nearly black. The grey was covered perfectly. Needed doing again this week so I used same mix but only on roots and left for one hour. Did not work so well. will do again with Indigo and chestnut roots only to cover grey and leave on for hour and half.

It covers greys and turns them into highlights
I have been using this product for more that two years. It is easy to use. For better results you need to leave the product at least for two hours.

Allergy reaction - burning ears
Delivery and item were fine, but I had an allergic reaction to this. I used Henne years ago with no problems, but this caused my ears to burn painfully. I had to sleep with cold compresses on my head and take piriton. Today I've got cream from the chemist, and more piriton. Last night was very painful and scary. Today it's eased, but still hurts. One of my ears is slightly swollen and bright red. both ears are sore and irritated. I'm still freaked out that this stuff is in my hair and scalp. Having done some research, allergy to Henne is due to the chemical additive PPD. This is added when the colour intends to be darker. This is the first time i've gone for a darker colour (I've only ever done reds previously) - so I believe there is PPD in this product, even though the packaging claims it's PPD free. I'm not sure how regulated this is, and how trusted it can be. Next time (if I dare try this again) - I will buy from Lush, who are totally chemical free and understand the allergy issues. For me - this stuff is not safe. Today is a right off - I can't work due to the pain and discomfort, and dozed out on Piriton. I'm still in the '24 hour after contact' zone so have been medically advised to keep an eye on it in case it gets worse - so having a stressful day. Not good. I'll never buy Henne online again.

Natural colour
They look when you applied. Obviously is very messy when you applied you have to be careful because the colour takes time to go from surfaces, so I am always had to clean after so I recommended to cover the floor and yourself with an old towel or something. Is a bit difficult to apply, because the henna gets dry easily but is a natural product and this is the process.I feel my hair soft after this henna. When you wash your hair the colour will go a bit every day but stay long.I didn't have any allergy or reaction after using this henna and I used four times already.

Good product
Good product but if you have lots of gray then it’s not good idea to use.

browb henna hair dye
The item arrived on time and is in good condition and there were no problems encountered in the transaction. I wanted a pure and natural dye without chemicals, and have since discoverred through online research, that Henna is by nature red. If it is any colour other than red, then chemicals are added to achieve those colours.I also suspect that ammonia was in it and probably peroxide due to the length of time the colour stayed. I also read online that products produced in certain countries - this one is produced in India - are not by law bound to print on the packet, the chemicals etc contained within. So I woudn`t be getting any more Henna products. I gave only 2 stars because I felt disappointed that I wasn`t getting a natural product. Other people may not mind that.

Works well, great colour. But messy to apply and increased hair shedding.
Decent quality henna at a good price. I've found this powder is remarkably more effective than their creme equivalent, the creme appears to wash out completely after only a few washes. However, like all henna this stuff is messy and smelly, and if you have fine hair you may find that it hurts your head as your heavy hair struggles under the height of muddy henna.Lovely colour dye though and your hair will feel so soft afterwards.Good if you have a PPD allergy, though I've experienced increased hair shedding after using henna, so it's not a win win from me.

Buena calidad, bonito color
