I have a housing on the water that comes into our house, simply because we live in a 1915 house and the water lines to our house are not good for anything in our house. The size is spot on, fits perfectly in the housing. I change it when it gets red with rust. It’s made a huge difference in our shower. Would get a lot of iron on the shower curtain, that has dramatically decreased.
