Review: Great bulbs - I had a more unusual use for these bulbs: I needed low wattage led bulbs for lighting up a train car for night time operations at a major railway museum. These bulbs worked perfectly! The low wattage meant that we could run 20+ bulbs and get more than an hour run time on our battery pack. Using these bulbs we got more than 3 hours of run time from our battery pack. The color was reasonably warm, and I overheard our visitors commenting that they thought it was period correct. Also, the bulbs were comfortably bright, but didn’t blow out night vision. Added bonus: they fit beautifully in the antique Pullman fixtures.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these equivalent ti 20 watt incandescence?**
A: The rating is 20 watt but one of the important factors is the Lumiens they produce ant that is 200 so a set of 24 would produce 2800 Lumens which is enough light for mood lighting for approximately to 250 square feet.

**Q: If they last 15 years, why does everyone need replacements already? Especially 15?**
A: Because they actually last about 1 year.  I have these on a daylight sensor that would turn the string on at about dusk every night and then off when the sun came up.  I got just under 11 months out of them =o(

**Q: What is the amperage for these lights**
A: I had to return them because they were not working in my light chain that has conventional bulbs. I don't remember what the indicated amperage was. But you can calculate: Watts divided by Volts = Ampere. So, if it is a 2W bulb at 110V  you have around 0.018 Amps per bulb. Does this help?

**Q: Are this dimmer? Because I bought a package and I putting on the bathroom light and doesn’t work, doesn’t change**
A: I was able to dim them on an outdoor string of lights

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These work great on all my string lights except by the fire pit

I got 100 of these bulbs to retrofit my incandescent string lights with LED to reduce energy consumption. I wanted to expand my string lights in my yard with more strands but all my current bulbs were incandescent and adding more would overload the circuit. With these bulbs each strand uses less than half of the energy they were using. These are a bit cooler in color than my old bulbs but I can deal with it. I did have to put 4 incandescent bulbs back in where a strand of lights passes near my fire pit. I was burning some twigs and yard debris and it started melting the plastic bulbs. I rescued the bulbs before they were damaged to the point of being unusable. There were no flames, just smoke hitting the bulbs. Just something to consider, I didn’t expect these to brave the heat of a fire. I like that these are “unbreakable” since one strand does pass over our pool and hail has been an issue so far this year. If these can survive a Texas hail storm then they are worth their weight in gold. Time will tell. The last storm I lost 12 glass bulbs. Fortunately none over the pool broke. One of my photos is a closeup of the color difference from my old bulbs. Its pretty noticeable. All my lights are on smart dimmer switches and these dim very well
