Great Notebook option for a smaller alternative to a 8 1/2 x 11 paper size.
Product arrived in perfect condition. The notebook paper does not bleed into the next page if writing with a fountain pen. I write a little hard with a pencil and the writing did not protrude on the back page or the next.I especially love the durability of the binding and the cover material. It's a very nice professional look that can be used for school, work, or personal use! I really enjoy the color! It's a good dark forest green! The size is just a little bigger than your average small labeled notebook. For example, Moleskins small labeled notebook is smaller than this in size.I ordered the same notebook in the brown and black. That should tell you how much I enjoy them.

Enjoyable to write in
I bought this for journaling and I love writing in it. The pages are so smooth and I love putting pen to paper because it feels so nice and enjoyable. I love grids but I think there are dots, lines, and blank pages available. Give it a try.It also has a pocket in the back, which was a nice surprise. The pen holder was a welcomed feature but it fell off, which was so so sad. I couldn't find it to get it back on. :( :(There's also a bookmark and a rubberband-like wrapper - so this little book has a lot of greatness to it. It's definitely going to be another journal in my supply once I fill this one up.

The Perfect Journal Does Exist!
This is my 6th Dingbat journal. I love them so much I wanted to give them a review. The texture of the outside is smooth, the pages smell and feel great. They are thick enough that ink doesn’t bleed through but thin enough that you get a lot of pagers per journal. They have a cool little pocket on the back inside cover that I’ve used to store money, passports, even bracelets and odds and ends. It’s just such a fun little journal, and a portion of the money goes to a good cause. I couldn’t imagine a better journal :)

Like no other.
I’ve had a few notebooks in the past but when I bought this specific notebook I was looking for a notebook that I could start a bullet journal in.This notebook caught my eye because I love wildlife and I think it screams my personality. Considering there’s a plethora of different designs to choose one, there’s no doubt that you will find one that feels personalized to you.The build quality of this notebook is fantastic. It’s sturdy and can take a beating. The front cover is textured so it’s easy to get a grip of. The paper is like no other. It’s got a creamy tone to it which isn’t bad it all. To me it actually feels more calm than bright white paper. They also pay attention to detail which I find really important in a notebook. They provide a strap to keep your notebook closed when you aren’t using, a bookmark, and even a pen/pencil holder! I haven’t seen many notebooks that have all of these. In the end, with the detail they pay attention to and the overall quality of the notebook, you can tell Dingbats Notebooks care about your well being and user experience. I would recommend this notebook to you and I will definitely buy again when it comes time to it.

Perfect for fountain pen
I have found a favourite! The 100 gsm of the great quality paper allows me to comfortably use my fountain pen. No ghosting whatsoever with a medium nib. From the moment you open it one can tell the good overall quality of the notebook. I will not repeat any of the good comments in other reviews. Just will tell you that they are right. My use is strickly as a daily personal journal and I carry it all the time in my bag. Def. will repeat the purchase.

Use for recipe journalling
The hard binding is easy to clean when using in the kitchen. I use this journal to write out recipes I am experimenting with, gives me space for ingredients and instructions and to come back and update the recipe as I fine tune it. Love the artwork on the front and spot for a writing utensil too.

Great size for travel with pocket for holding bits of paper.
This is the 3rd Dingbats journal I’ve purchased for gifts. They have been highly praised for size and workmanship, especially holding up well for international travels. The embossed animals and coloring make them very interesting.

GREAT notebook!
I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of the Dingbats notebook. Pages are thick enough and leather cover feels very good. The notebook looks amazing and can make an awesome gift. If I need another awesome notebook it definitely will be my number one choice. Highly recommend.

Vegan friendly leather look high quality notebooks
I love this plain paper notebook journal whatever you want it for. The cover is vegan faux leather look and feel. It has an elasticated pen holder and pull over closure. In the back of the book is a folder to hold important items or shopping lists. I love elephants so I picked the elephant first the cover has an embossed elephant outline on the front. The paper is a good quality and has copped well with both my lamy fountain pen ink and my cross Bailey light rollerball ink. Both are strong black pigment inks and there's no bleed through. It copes well with my Arteza gel glitter pens and metallic gel pens too, wether I'm doodling, writing or drawing. The company uses all environmentally friendly products and donate a percentage of each sale to the WWF. This is my first but not my last, i will be collecting the rest of the elephant range and the brown bear. They apparently do pens as well which i will give a go of too!!!

Fine, just not for pencils.
This book is fine if you're looking for a notebook. If you're looking for a sketch journal and you work mostly in dry medium, don't bother. I'm irritated that this came up when I searched for cartridge paper, because cartridge paper it isn't. It is smooth, slippery...Almost feels waxy. No teeth. Pencil does not stick to it, it's like working with graphite a couple of grades harder than what's actually in your hand. Disappointing. However, I can't say it's a bad notebook. It's a nice notebook. It's well made, has good bindings, it's sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, the paper is a lovely cream colour, the pocket in the back is useful, fine liner and markers don't feather (they bleed through the page but when do they not?). I haven't tried paints but it'd probably be OK so long as you don't go too wet. It's just not what I wanted.

Love Digbats Quality up there with Moleskine - beautiful crafting
beautiful notebook - really well made and the paper is really good quality and superb to write on. I use a fountain pen and the nib just glides across the paper - no snagging, bleeding or pipping.Happy to recommend these very highly

Love it
Simply great notebook. I use an ink pen and find that in most notebooks have ink striking through to the next page - not with these notebooks. The quality is very good and the designs are fantastic. The cover can hold its own against the rest of the crap I keep in my bag, and the pages don't tear easily.I normally use Moleskine notebooks, and never thought I would use anything else, but Dingbats have turned my head. I would (and have done) buy again.

Papers changed really disappointing
I used to recommend these sketchbooks to everyone. But the quality is really different. The pages are more yellow and a lot glossier than there previous versions. Its so much easier to smudge ink and I've found the pages under the one you are working on get wrinkles really easily. Really sad to see. I would rather pay more for the old one :(. Used to rate these 5/5.
