Q: What is the storage accessory for?

I only use the harness and the leash. I put the other things that came with it in my dog box in the pantry.

Q: How do you use the seatbelt attachment? It clips onto the harness but where does the metal part go to ensure safety?

The seat belt is a permanent part of the leash. It doesn't interfere in any way. You clip that portion until your seat belt receiver and off you go. It secures the dog so they can't move far in the seat and they don't become a projectile in the event of a car accident. The buckle seems to be a little heavier for my 20lb dog than my 44lb dog. My little girl still does fine with it but if your dog is smaller you may want to consider a different leash

Q: is there a way to order a replacement plastic snap piece?

I really don’t know the answer, but I seriously doubt that there is a way. I wish there were: my dog chews everything he can find, and I’ve lost more than one piece for those harnesses.

Q: How long is the leash?

Close to 5ft but I only used it once the handle is cumbersome and I stopped using the harness altogether
