This works great took ten minutes to setup.note the hdmi claim requires a dvi to hdmi adapter cable. Mine did not come with adapter as per there claim which I did have one on handit works great with win 7 , not all programs would work with xp because of directx issueeven though I turn on directx for 2nd displayfor the missing adapter and not all programs work with xp is why I gave it 3 starsA company should include all parts they claim come with a purchase

Works Very Well So Far - Surpassed Expectations!
I ordered the USB-DAAH somewhat hesitantly as there were very few reviews and most of those were not favorable. Nonetheless, the price was very reasonable and this device seemed to do exactly what I needed, that is, to provide remote KVM capabilities from my PC"s running Windows 7 to a Sharp 1080p TV via ethernet. This thing actually works and casts video and sound from any of my PC's over my home network to the TV. Not only that, it has two USB ports which I used to connect a Microsoft 800 wireless keyboard and mouse combo so that I can control the screen in front of it. So how is the performance? Well if running wired all the way, it's not bad considering the Ethernet port on the USB-DAAH is 10/100. There is some noticeable lag in full screen 1080p video and the audio sometimes struggles as well so it would seem if you are looking for that kind of casting ability, say for Netflix, Hulu, or Vudu you might look to a more recent solution. Wireless presents even more of a challenge for it, it doesn't BSOD or anything but the amount of lag in video, USB and audio becomes more notifiable if not intolerable depending on the amount of activity associated with the output. For yeoman's PC duty however, this seems suitable and again for the price, very reasonable.Note that I have not yet tested the ability for several of these devices to remotely control up to four PC's connected via USB which is another capability it has. I'll also be trying it with my Linux box as it supports use with that OS as well. I am hoping this proves to be a viable long term tool I can use for my home network. I'll update this review after I have used it more.

I got what I paid for.
Garbage. Unlike most the reviews I read, it was a breeze to set up and install and it works flawlessly for about 5 min then screen begins flickering as device heats up even on minimal settings with my cpu at idle. If I unplug it and plug it back in it works for about five minutes then same results. If I press or twist on the base of the device the picture corrects itself. So I tried switching cables with ones i have tested from other devices, same result. I suspect a cold solder joint, therefor a manufactures defect. NOT SELLERS FAULT. Item well packaged and in perfect condition. Though I feel for 30 bucks its just not worth the hassle of sending it back. Another lesson learned , you get what you pay for. I doubt ill try another, instead I will be purchasing the Startech IPUSB2VGA.

Solid product, works as advertised
Bought this to add an extra monitor to my PC. Shipped quickly, hardware worked out of the box.Pros:-works well for word processing, web browsing, and so on.-can play videos, but is a bit laggy-does what it says on the boxCons:-anything that involves lots of pixels changing at once is a touch choppy, but I expected this before purchasing the productOther Thoughts:-packaging was a bit mashed on arrival, but the product was completely unharmed. I suspect this may be USPS, not Sabrent-driver provided on the disk did not work at all, and caused server graphical artifacting on all my monitors, however the driver from their website worked better than expected, and relieved the issues with the on-disk driver-did not seem to work exceptionally well over USB, however, I only tested the USB mode with the on-disk driver (which did not work very well, or at all in Ethernet mode), and this may well be my PC-I did not test using it with multiple different PCs, so I have no clue if this feature works or not-USB pass-through ports did not work, but I did not realize they were there until after I unboxed the product, so I did not take off a star (tested with a USB flash drive, on a machine running 64 bit win7, with the product running in Ethernet mode)-headphone pass-through did not work, but I did not purchase the product to use for that purpose, so I did not remove a star (tested in the same conditions as the previous points)-the above two points may be related to my specific machine, or I may have not installed the correct driverOverall, the product works well for what I bought it for.

This product sucks. Do not buy.1. Installation software CD does not work for Windows 8.x2. CD directs you to a link to download the software that doesn't work3. Installation of drivers don't tell you where they installed so you can't find the files4. No instructions for setup or software thus no software to be found5. Unit runs SUPER hot

I ordered 4 of these, 1 was DOA and ...
I ordered 4 of these, 1 was DOA and returned for refund. 2 were installed in October and have since started malfunctioning. I was hoping the return policy was still valid but am far beyond the 30day return window. I'm looking for the packaging and warranty info to contact the manufacturer tomorrow.Whats happening is the 2nd screen is scrambling, if you unplug the unit it goes away but happens again in a bit.

Very versatile, though not perfect
This unit is just shy of being a full docking station. Though capable of doing lots of things, it won't do them all at once. I cannot use it as both a video and Network Interface Card at the same time. It also is limited to about 1440x900. Overall, I'm pleased. It gives me an easy extra screen option when making Win XP run with multiple displays.

Took a bit to get working on my Mac, but works beautifully now.
The CD was a mini-CD which does not work in Macbook Pro's CD drives. It was a bit of a goose chase finding the right drivers and installing them. Here is an article that will help. [...]
