We bought this using the post's measurement instructions, but the length was too long for our pup. He refused to walk in it. So we repurchased one size smaller and it's perfect. Pros: The fleece inside is very warm. The collar can be flipped up to cover the top of your dog's head, or cuffed to keep the head clear. The Velcro straps are strong and adjustable. Cons: runs bigger than expected. There are two elastic loops sewn into the back corners of the coat, which you place your dog's rear legs through - they're meant to hold the back end of the coat flush over your dog's lower back. My dog was uncomfortable with this. Easily remedied by cutting the elastics off the coat. This was not at all a deal breaker. The coat is great quality and will keep your pup warm in the cold weather!

I love this dog coat. Harper is 83 pounds. I got him a 3X. It fits perfect. Easy to put on. Goes over his head and the velcro straps go under his belly and close on his back. There is a zipper on the back if we use his harness instead of his leash. We don't put his hind legs thru the back elastic strips and the coat stays on very well. Water Resistant also. Would definitely recommend this coat.

It is very easy to put on. My dog will put her head right in and wait for me to secure it. She even likes to wear it around the house when it is a little chilly.

She's not thrilled to wear it but it serves the purpose!

My boxer loves this coat. She is able to be outdoors longer in the winter without getting too cold.

I purchased the 3x for my 111 pound, thick chested lab. It fits well and is super easy to put on and take off. It does not restrict his movement. Labs deal well with the cold, but we get days that are below zero F and we often spend several hours outside doing chores. He decides when he wants to wear it. On super cold days he goes and waits by his coat when it’s time to go out. I think that’s a pretty good indicator that he’s pretty happy with this coat.
