Reliable quality of a zippo.
Purchased as a gift fro my brother to add to his cigar lighting arsenal. Reliable Zippo quality manufacturing providing an easy to use and consistent fast lighting flame. Insert is wel fitted as you would expect from zippo and is easy to fill/replace flint if required. I purchased him the Brass version so this is no doubt a sturdy and durable finish that will keep its smooth and classy look. As I said it’s easily refillable with lighter fluid and functions flawlessly

Honest review
Good high quality lighter. Feel like you're someone from the 50's while using it aha. Always keep a tin of brasso handy as the high polish finish does get a little dirty and worn (as shown in picture), however it is a cool look, but I prefer it a little shinier. Overall high quality lighter that's actually windproof with a lifetime guarantee. Beats buying loads of disposable ones that will cost a lot more than £20 in the long run. If you're forgetful.. then just get a cheap one, as loads of people lose/misplace theirs. (This is my second one) Don't take them on a heavy night out of drinking and you'll be fine. 10/10 it's a zippo.

A real handsome outdoor lighter
Very smart lighter and will stay alight even in high winds. I love the look and feel of this lighter, This Brass petrol lighter is solidly produced and durable, it is one of my favourite things. Don't bother with with cheaper, poor quality imitations, this was not badly priced, coming in at under £15 including delivery. I make no apology for sounding like an advert for them. Zippo has to be the only make worth having.

Good Purchase, quality product
Misplaced my old zippo of over 30 years service, got this as a replacement, does exactly as it says on the tin, with the quality it should last as long as my old one.

Zippo vintage style lighter - Brass Polished Finish
Good cheap lighter. Bought it to replace my 20 odd year old one and not disapointed. Did not want to send back under the zippo lifetime g/tee as they may have changed the case and it had a design on I like. So at this price you can not go wrong. As it is Brass finish the case gets finger marks on it so if that bothers you, you may wish to look at another finish. It is not a major problem and with use it becomes the norm and you don't notice it. i reckon the Armor version is better
it's a Zippo, and if a zippo is what you want, then this is a 5* zippo. But, for the same price, here on Amazon, you can get the Armor version, which is just slightly thicker and chunkier .. as zippos used to be. That gives it a heftier feel in the hand and pocket. OR maybe you prefer the lighter (pun) version, which is fine as well. Zippos are so unsophisticated in their build, that they are nearly impossible to destroy, so a zippo is for life (or until you lose it, which is about once every year). Others have mentioned scratches and quality control. I suspect what they refer to is some minute, but vaguely visible, scratch-like patters in the brass. This is due to the metal used - get some Brasso or equivalent brass polisher, and give it a spin every week or so and you will have a shiny brass Zippo. Otherwise, get the stell version, if you want a shiny surface without needing to buff it.

Brass Zippo
Solid looks and value for money. I recommend this over the painted Zippos, as even official ones have the problem of paint chipping/flaking within weeks or even days. The inserts are the same no matter which one you get. These brass Zippos are lighter than the chrome ones, so if you're into tricks then consider this. Before purchasing, take into account that the fuel in Zippos tends to evaporate after 5 or 6 days, so bear in mind that you will be re-filling it regularly. They are well worth the money as they look infinitely cooler than disposable lighter.

Beautiful lighter, classic zippo
Fantastic lighter, genuine zippo so comes with lifetime guarantee. The lighter itself is a more square design than the typical modern zippo. The only problem with the the polished brass is it can be easily scratched so you must be careful if you want to keep it looking awesome. It came in a proper zippo box with all the paper work, one very satisfied customer.

Excellent briquet, un Zippo dont le nom évoque à lui-seul le produit. Efficace, simple d'usage, robuste et facile d'entretien ce Zippo avec son aspect métal brossé sait se faire discret et est un excellent compagnon.

Lights up every time, so long as you've filled it in the last 2 or so weeks. Big, beefy flame that lights anything you throw at it and doesn't singe tobacco like jet lighters tend to. Everything about these lighters are perfect from beginning to end, which is why Zippo has endured for so long. I'm never buying a disposable lighter again. Here's some tips for when you (hopefully) get your Zippo: >Before you fill it, take out all the rayon balls and repack it. Make the wick into an S shape with the balls packed in as tightly as before: this will give you a more consistent light and make your fills last longer. >Don't be stingy with fuel: counterintuitively, a full Zippo lasts longer than an empty or half-full Zippo because there's less room for your fuel to evaporate. >Keep it cool! The cooler your Zippo is, the less evaporation: store it on an outside coat/jacket pocket or cargo pocket instead of a back/side pocket.
