High quality leather insole - perfect fit and finish - good thickness options
Fantastic insoles. This review will be for both the standard thickness as well as the thick version. The standard version works fantastic for a pair of lace up boots where I wanted slightly more support. They are breaking in nicely and conforming to the shape of my foot perfectly. High quality product and very happy with the results. I also ordered a thick size for a pair of slip on non-laced boots. For this boot I wanted a slightly more snug fit due to not having laces. Again the leather quality is fantastic and the shape is perfect. The thicker version definitely takes up slightly more room inside the boot giving me the slightly more snug feeling I was looking for. Side by side comparison shows there is a pretty significant difference in thickness between the options, with both meeting the needs of different boot styles depending on which fit you are aiming to achieve. I would highly recommend either.

Great aftermarket insole for my Thorogood Moc Toe boots
I didn't like the plastic insole in my Thorogood Heritage boots. These leather insoles make the boots feel a lot like my Redwing 875s. The insoles do mold to the shape of your foot and absorb some moisture. Excellent quality. I do which they were a little less expensive.

Form fitting after break in
Game changer, these insoles are extremely comfortable after a very short break in period.I have them in my Red Wing Chelsea Boots, plan on ordering another pair for my Iron Rangers. They perfectly form to the bottom of my foot. My only small issue is because my feet sweat I have to take them out everyday after work or the very top will start growing mold. A boot dryer would solve this

High quality. Fits perfectly in Red Wing boots. Random color...
These are made with an amazing quality leather, and work very well with real leather boots, like Red Wings. My Red Wing's were already broken in and comfortable, however about a .25 size too big. I bought the inserts to give myself a snug fit while wearing thin socks. The inserts did add even more comfort and worked as i had hoped.Notes: I think the soles would be too thick for dress shoes, unless you bought your shoes sized up. They are pretty thick. The reason I deducted 1 star, is because the color you get is random. I got black insoles and my boots are tan, minor gripe, I know. I understand the availability of leather and how they probably need to use overstock leather from the tannery. etc..I would buy them over inserts in a heartbeat. All of those gel, cushion, arch support are all synthetic. Nothing beats real leather.

Perfect, exactly what you'd expect.
Ive gotten these 2 times now for 2 different sets of boots and honestly, if you use them as intended they are perfect. i personally use them over my insoles in my work boots. they make the insoles last 3X longer without ripping apart. + i enjoy the smooth feeling of a leather insole. 10/10 if all you need is a thin leather insole over your soft foam one.I do suggest, oil them every now and then to keep them soft or they will get stiff after a while.

Perfect to take up volume
Like a couple of other reviewers I purchased a pair of Grant Stone boots; I bought the Brass Boot. They fit well in the heel but a little too roomy in the midfoot and toe box. I didn’t want to size down because the length seemed about right so I got these to take up the extra room. The insoles are nice and thick (3-4mm), firm and sturdy feeling, and smell like leather just as they should. The light brown color is a pretty decent match for the lining of the boots. The shape is good and only required a minor amount of trimming. They did squeak when I walked on them but once I made sure they fit properly I spread a thin layer of contact cement across the bottom of the insole and glued them into place. No more squeak and they look like a factory footbed! Will definitely buy them again if I need to take up some volume in a boot.

a feeble attempt for a leather insole
if I could give these a negative star of wood they are hard thick slippery uncomfortable you cannot cut or trim without proper tools and I thought these were already cut to the size I needed but no and they do not work well in any type of cowboy boot forget about that
