Blue Exorcist (Ao no Exorcist) volume 7 contains chapters 24 to 27 plus a short bonus chapter, a question corner with the author and characters, and an extra 4 panel comic!It is rated T+ for older teen (16+) due to violence, suggestive situations and some adult themes.Rin Okumura and his twin brother Yukio are the sons of Satan but they only found out about this after the man who raised them was killed by Satan. Unlike his twin brother, Rin has special powers in the form of blue flames. He enrolled in a special school which trains exorcists and found out that his twin brother is actually a teacher there. Now he wants to become strong enough to defeat Satan and protect his friends but first he has to learn how to control his powers and master his sword.Continuing from the Kyoto arc again, Rin is still locked up and we hear more about Fujimoto's encounter with Suguro's family. The Impure King awakens and Rin is told that his flames can stop it! Unfortunately Mephisto appears and tells him that the Vatican has sentenced him to death! Suguro, Shiemi, Konekomaru, Shima and Izumo find out and go to save him! While that is happening, the gas spreads and Yukio runs into Saburota Todo, the man behind the awakening!A really good volume! I didn't put it down once! VIZ Media have done a very good job with this, the quality is good and they even used different typefaces!It's nice to see the friends work together again. The author said the arc was supposed to end in volume 7 but it continues into volume 8. I'm not complaining though, I'm loving it! I'm looking forward to reading the next volume! (Volume 8 is released in Japan in April so we should see it in 6 months or so)

I bought this book for my daughter as she really enjoys the Blue Exorcist books.I am told this one is just as good as all of the other ones, if you have read any of the others then this is worth getting.

Huge fan of the series loved the anime and loved the manga too. Will buy more as soon as they bring them out. Epic story and epic characters a must read.
