Would this pole be suitable for a mobile phone amplifier aerial?

No, I wouldn't think so. It is a fibreglass pole that is for temporary events. It extends really quickly and you can also pack away really quickly too to carry onto a train or just carry. I would think you will need something more permanent for an aerial, especially if it has any weight. Flags are usually quite lightweight.

What wind speeds can the flagpole withstand?

They should not be used in winds in excess of 20 Mph or Force 5

how does the top section fit to the next section ? is it just push as it seemed tight and the second joint split, surely there should be a sleeve

You just pull all poles out to how high you would like it, Then at each section turn the two poles opposite to each other then it would thighten there's about 6 poles all in all if I remember If there's anything else I can help you with just ask.

Can this be used for a feather flag? Can it curve at the top?

the pole is quite bendy but as long as the feather weighs less than a 3ftx5ft flag you should be ok

I always lash the pole either to the wing mirror housing on the motorhome using a bungy or to a fence rail or post or a small tree. Care has to be taken to "thread the pole, flag mounted, through the branches. Try to judge what 5mph winds are like and you'll have trouble free flag or pennant flying. Great flagpole

I bought this pole for summer camping holidays so we can fly the Yorkshire flag wherever we go. I find the pole to be fantastic quality. The only issue we have had with it is that the very top section gets stuck and wont collapse down for storage (we dont attach the flag to the top of the pole as the flag is quite big and we dont want to risk breaking the top of the pole)

Flag pole seems to be ok and fairly solid

The pole is fine, not sure how long it will last as the sections do not twist to fit together when extended they just rely on the thickness of the sections to hold each other. The stake is a complete waste of time, don't know why they bother supplying this as it doesn't fit into the pole. The hole in the pole is about 36mm but the stake is 10mm. Sausage and Mersey tunnel comes to mind

Let’s face it it’s a telescopic pole the pulls out and stays up. It has a ground spike that I am not sure how to use. As the cap at the bottom of the pole doesn’t have a hole in. Maybe send idiot instructions. For idiots. IE me
