Best Cat Toy Ever!!!
I must say that I'm shocked to see any bad reviews on here. Both my cats love this toy! The first one I got years ago. I just got a second one recently and it's just as amazing! Yes they tear off the feathers but that can be expected with cats. It's nice they have replacement arms so you don't have to buy a whole new set every time they tear off the feathers. This is both my cats favorite toy and they can play it for hours! The fact that it's rechargeable makes it all the better cuz I used to go through batteries like crazy. I recommend this to all my friends who own cats.

My chonk cat loves this
We had a similar toy that took batteries, but when that one died I decided to try a rechargeable one. I love this toy. It has several features that keep the cats coming back, especially my chonk that hates to know he's "playing." He stopped engaging with wand toys, which was one of the few ways we kept him active.Pros: This toy has several features that keep the cats coming back. The top clip with the butterfly and ribbons doesn't spin much, but it bobbles around enough to annoy one kitty when he's trying to remain stoic and ignore the toy. The fabric is crinkly and apparently is great to munch on, there seems to be some satisfaction in biting it over and over. The spinning toy has feathers and fluff, and peeks out just enough to be seen, but still mysterious enough to pique the curiosity. The motor has enough power to withstand the pounce and heft of my 17-pound cat: he likes to hold it down so the toy base moves around, then let it go once it's struggling. I attached a picture with it on a sheepskin, I think he feels like he's attacking a much larger animal when he's on it. It spins freely on the sheepskin, with less power than when it sits on a tile floor, but it still goes strong.Cons: Fast mode is too fast on the bare floor. It could be too aggressive for some cats, my smaller one gets intimidated by it. Second is the noise- we try to set it up where we're not going to be bothered, but it's definitely not a toy that can be going at the same time as the TV. Usually not a big deal, until a very sad cat is sitting next to it as we watch a movie. Neither of these is particularly negative, but something to consider if you have kittens or a small apartment.I think it takes a few hours to get to a full charge, I haven't timed it exactly. But the charge lasts for a long time, about 10 days of play in our house. I've had it about a month and a half and only charged it three or four times.I wouldn't recommend this for small cats or easily startled cats, but if you have an active cat, I'd highly recommend this.

Great purchase!
I have a middle-aged boy who wasn't overly active and would only occasionally play with toys. I recently took in a younger rescue, who is clearly a hunter, and wanted something that would pique his interest. To my surprise, they BOTH took to this, after a few minutes of it running, and they play with this constantly. The only things I would critique (and the reason for 4 stars) are: the sensor does not appear to work. After 15 minutes, the unit shuts off and I have to constantly turn it back on. A little frustrating for active playing cats. I have another interactive toy that all they have to do is bump it and it will turn back on. The other issue, within a day, they ripped two feathers out of the wand. Thankfully, I was home when this happened. Other than that, it's a great mat for my boys.

Great Toy and Customer Support
My cats absolutely love this toy but the best part is the company support for this product. The toy stopped operating properly after a few days. I reached out to them and they shipped another one free of charge within 24 hours. That is great company service!

Lasted a week, poor quality, save your $, buy a different model
I purchased this toy to replace a similar toy that my cats loved, since it looked about the same as my previous model, but this is an inferior poor quality product in so many ways. It lasted a week, and now the motor just clicks and the attachments barely click back and forth in place. There are higher quality models that don’t have all the problems this toy has: First, the base is too light and the cats knock it over after a minute of play, so you have to monitor it constantly to stand it back up. 2nd, the butterfly on top does not flap or spin fast enough to get their attention. It just turns slowly in an upright position. 3) the wire attachment has coils and tiny metal attachments that seem dangerous & easy for cats claws to get caught in it. it came with a piece of plastic wrapped around the metal attachment rings; not sure if its meant to be removed to dangle freely or spin better, but i left it on to protect their claws (even though half the metal chain links are still exposed). Other models have the metal coil at the bottom, near the base of the motor so they wont get snagged on it, and the toys are attached with elastic or plastic, not a chain made up of tiny metal rings. 4) the toy turns off automatically when they are in the middle of playing with it, and the motion sensor does not restart the toy for an hour, so I have to constantly restart it. theres no point to the motion sensor that turns itself off for an hour at a time after 5 minutes running, not long enough at all 5) battery is weak and doesn't hold a charge more than a couple days (even with the annoying automatic shut down mode) But for all these defects, by far the biggest issue is it only worked a week before the motor failed, so all it does is humm (loudly) and shake, so the attachments kind of twitch back & forth in the same place. Save your $, avoid a huge headache and dissapointing your cat. Find a better model that doesn’t have all the issues ennumerated above! They have way better models without all these issues, and I will be buying the same model i had before to replace this poor substitute.
