Le CreusetStoneware Heritage Butter Dish, White

This butter dish is large enough to hold two regularly sized sticks of butter, side-by-side. The soft gray outside of the dish is quite pleasing and would blend with just about any kitchen decor. It is easy to remove the lid, and the loop handle at the top allows it to sit without getting butter on anything else when placed on its top. The smooth surface of the dish, inside and out makes it quite functional, and easy to clean with just a paper towel. I've not seen a comparable dish for the price, so you will surely agree that it is a great value. The lid seals well when closed, so we keep it on the countertop so the butter is soft and easily spreadable.

It’s the perfect butter dish when your brand new refridgerator doesn’t have a butter shelf!! Odd right! So I bought this Le Creuset grey ombre butter dish with a lid. I love it!! I keep it refrigerated but the butter isn’t very hard when I’m about to use it and that’s a plus when my granddaughters want Bread and butter!! It’s very sturdy and has a small handle on the lid for easier access. Le Creuset never disappoints!!

I've always been more budget conscious and wary of "paying for the name", or what my Dad lovingly refers to as "the idiot tax", but I'll always make an exception for Le Creuset. Put simply, it's worth it. They're just quality products, and this stoneware is no exception. There's a reason people argue over these as inheritance.This butter dish is easy to clean, either hand wash or dishwasher. It holds two US sized sticks of butter comfortably, closing properly which other dishes I've owned have struggled with. The weight of the lid is enough to create a good seal. The listing mentions it's microwave safe, but I've never had occasion to test it.The color of this is as pictured and matches our decor well.

Great quality and very cute in the kitchen. It is perfect for holding butter and the color is beautiful. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and it is worth the money.

Very sturdy and dishwasher safe. I purchased a glass dish first and it kept chipping with the use of a knife. Also this dish is a little wider which makes the butter easier to retrieve and keeps the dish cleaner looking. The ceramic is heavier, solid and very attractive. 5 stars👍

I got the red butter dish because it blends well my three lodge red cast iron 6 qt cooker. The style is nice. The smalls handle on top is nice touch my previous dish did not have. I also like the larger, slanted and ribbed side handles that give a more secure grip when moving it. Over-priced imho. But the color and features moved me to choose over price alone in this case.This is my first Le creuset item so time will tell on how it holds up to heavy kitchen use.

This is the perfect butter dish. I've been looking for ages to find one to replace my Tupperware butter holder. It holds 2 sticks of butter. Very nice.

It's a nice looking butter dish, and of course super-overkill for storing sticks of butter. It's large, it's heavy, and it's kind of cool if that's what you want to match your other brand items. I don't particularly care about that aspect, but I do like the dutch ovens they make, and this really fits in with that aesthetic. Looks nice, feels nice (and heavy), and holds your butter. No complaints.
