Love Zoe's Instagram posts; the book was a bit disappointing, however, as it was somewhat general.
It was a quick read & gave a basic overview of her counseling philosophy. Her current Instagram posts are OUTSTANDING, however.

Dissatisfied
"Part of self-awareness involves one's own social positioning and the privilege and power that accompanies it..." this quote is from the book, after the question from her: How alive do you feel? What does one have to do with the other? This book is supposed to be about self-love...I feel this is more "white guilt"...a total turn-off, and not why I want to read a book on self-love/self-compassion.

Received used book, paid for new
The book I received is obviously not new. There are stains on the pages, as well as the back cover. The pages are not smooth, as a new book would be. I never would have paid this much for a used book.
