The first set I ordered arrived with the tape cut and sure enough, some very mature adult person had stolen and replaced the new figures with random old ones and returned it. It's easy to blame this new type of windowless cardboard packaging but it's been happening for years before it became the norm. It's disappointing that people behave this way. Imagine if this had been a gift for someone, or I wasn't planning on opening it right away? If you're ordering online make sure you inspect your set or open it up right away to check the contents inside. It's sad that people have to waste our time! Luckily I was able to exchange it for a new one quickly, and the new figures arrived without any tampering. While the other Banshee/Gambit/Psylocke set is more interesting to me, the upgraded Forge and new Storm figures especially are decent. I wish Jubilee had been constructed a little differently (the older shoulder and elbow joints feel a little lazy when everyone else got so upgraded) but pinless joints across the board and great face printing makes up for it so I can't complain too much. Some of the yellow paint over blue plastic isn't the best in spots but I've seen a lot worse application in the Marvel Legends line. That's the risk of these multipacks – you can't be as picky as with single figures and sort of have to settle for most of them being ok. 3 figures for nearly $80 isn't a great value by any means, but this set in combination with the other X-Men 60th anniversary set and single-carded Wolverine are essential and look amazing together if you're a fan of Jim Lee's early 90s run (and in particular Uncanny X-Men 275) so it was worth it to me to spend a little more than I would have liked. They look excellent as a team with the range of different figure heights/sizes. Hopefully Hasbro will continue putting out figures from the Lee/Claremont era soon – there are a few others like Lilandra or Deathbird that we still need especially in this current era of great Marvel Legends figures.

Love these characters and in the kind of classic uniforms that they (excluding Forge) aren't really known for but that the X-Men overall are. Excellent sculpts and articulation and a great selection of characters: Storm, an absolute classic, Forge, more obscure but definitely needed, and Jubilee, a fan favorite. Looking forward to the release of the other Blue and Gold X-Men 3 Pack soon. I do wish for future releases like this that Hasbro will recognize that there is less packaging and individual marketing and so they shouldn't cost more than a normal figure per figure.

These packages come without plastic, so you have to open them to see your figures. The no plastic box features very impressive art from Uncanny X-Men issue 275. I had that comic until hurricane Ivan in Florida. #ReclaimingMyChildhood 😎

As a HUGE X-Men fan and figurine collector, I just had to purchase this triple figure set of Storm, Forge and Jubilee in their training uniforms each with their respective accessories, perfect quality, fantastic designs, a much needed addition to anyone’s X-Men and/or Marvel collections.
